We had an unforgettable experience exploring Pompeii with our guide, Raffaele. From the moment the tour began, it was clear we were in expert hands. As an archaeologist and a local, Raffaele brought incredible depth and authenticity to everything we saw. His knowledge was remarkable, and his passion for the history of Pompeii was truly inspiring. Our family group included two children among a party of eight, and Raffaele was not only incredibly patient, but also genuinely friendly and engaging with everyone. He explained things clearly, answered all our questions thoughtfully, and made the ruins come alive in a way that was both educational and fun. This tour was a highlight of our European trip, and we feel lucky to have had such a dedicated and knowledgeable guide. We would absolutely recommend Raffaele to anyone visiting Pompeii, you’ll walk away with a much deeper appreciation for the site and its history.

We had a great experience with Raffaele. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Pompeii and it's history. We were 30 minutes late for our tour, ( our fault ) but Raffaele kept in touch with us and was very flexible. Although he was not able to extend the tour ( understandably) he made sure we saw all the highlights and then pointed us in the right direction for different things we wanted to see. Highly recommend Raffaele and a private tour.

Our tour guide Raffaele was fabulous. I booked a private tour as I have a 6 year old and wanted to make it more interactive for him so he could enjoy it more and I was not disappointed. We also had several other friends join us of all ages and they all thought the tour was excellent and Raffaele made it really interesting and fun. He was also happy to answer questions so we could all feel involved and came away with a great understanding of the historical site. Would highly recommend. Thank you very much.

We had a fantastic tour with Teresa of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Organizing the tour was easy - with rapid communication through email. We had a car so meet out tour guide Teresa at Pompeii - she had a sign with our name and was easy to find. She gave us a wonderful tour full of detailed information and presented in a fun way. Teresa has PhD so is full of knowledge, but is a fantastic teacher and kept our attention. She knew what areas to avoid due to crowds and gave exquisite details on small but very interesting facts that we would have overlooked. We (myself, 17 year old son and 15 year old daughter) can not recommend enough. Book this tour. Teresa is currently postdoc, but will make a fantastic Professor some day.

We had a fantastic visit today with our private guide, Maria. We met her there at 8:30, first visitors in. It was serene and beautiful! Her knowledge of the area and timeframe was quite impressive. This was the first time we had booked with this company..due to travel mishaps we had to change our travel day/time a few times. They were very accommodating. We LOVED our tour....Maria was lovely!!!! Wholeheartedly recommend this adventure. Enjoy!
