There was a torrential downpour when we went on this tour. Despite the harsh weather conditions, the tour guide did everything to accommodate us and make the experience enjoyable for us.
We started out with wanting to do the tour for only an hour since we were tired from being rained on at Vesuvius, but as the weather got better, we ended up doing a lot more which was great! The guide was very knowledgeable and had images/artifacts to show to us during the tour to improve our understand of the tour as well.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review!
Rainy days in Pompeii can be challenging, so we’re really happy your guide was able to adapt the tour, keep a comfortable pace and make the experience enjoyable for your whole group. It’s great to know the explanations, images and artifacts helped bring the site even more clearly to life.

Tour of ancient Pompeii
It was a very nice experience! I recommend it without reservation! Mike was very good, he took us to ancient Pompeii! The tour was about 1.5 hours but it didn't tire us out at all.
Comfortable shoes are needed because there is a lot of walking and uneven terrain. It is ideal for exploration lovers!
