大道城の鼓動する中心であり、台北で最も古い市場の一つである、歴史的な永楽市場の中へ足を踏み入れましょう。 その美しい赤レンガのファサードの下には、何世代にもわたる商人や食品ベンダーが地元の伝統を守り続け、活気に満ちた昔の台北のスナップ写真を作り出しています。 生地店、生鮮食品、家族経営の屋台が並ぶ賑やかな回廊を散策しながら、職人のバオスや台湾の有名な季節のフルーツなど、地元の人気料理を試食します。
迪化の賑やかな通りから歩いてすぐ、台北夏海市神寺という街で最も愛されているスピリチュアルな場所に立ち寄ります。 小さな寺ながら、特に愛護や加護、福を求める人々に力強いご利益があることで知られる。 絶え間ない参拝者の流れ、焚き火の香り、神社の隅々まで詰め込まれた精緻なディテールに気づくでしょう。
次の目的地、大道城聖寺の活気あるフードコートに到着する前に、少し寄り道して、梁州街を下ります。この辺りの静かな歴史通りのひとつです。 ここでは、台湾を代表する屋台料理のひとつ、割包（グアバオ）を味わいます。割包は「台湾ハンバーグ」の愛称で親しまれており、柔らかいふわふわの蒸しバンズに柔らかい煮豚のスライスを挟んだ料理で知られています。
そして、ほとんどの旅行者が自力では見つけられない地元の人気スポット、大道城西勝寺フードストリートを取り囲む活気あるフードシーンへ向かいます。 ここでは、1つの名物である、作りたての台湾鶏巻き（雞肉捲）に焦点を当てます。 外はカリッと、中はジューシーで、うま味がギュッと詰まった一品。 地味ですが、台湾のコンフォートフードの本質を完璧に捉えた一品です。
寧夏夜市で夕食の旅を締めくくります。台北で最も愛されている食の目的地のひとつで、クラシックな台湾の味に惹かれる地元の人々から人気があります。 夕暮れになると、光る看板や焼けるようなグリル、できたての屋台の食べ物がたまらない香りとともに、市場は活気づく。 活気あるレーンを散策しながら、カリッとしたフレーク状の葱のパンケーキから、フライヤで取れたてのもちもちの芋玉まで、台湾を代表するナイトマーケットの軽食を試食します。ツアーのフィナーレにぴったりです。

Had a really wonderful couple of hours with Dave. Turns out I was the only guest that morning, but Dave came through for me and gave me personal food tour. Super grateful he made it happen, since I only have 3 full days to work with. Highly recommend.

Dave was an amazing guide, walking us around some of the historic neighborhoods of Taipei while giving us some history, all the while stopping at the best local spots for a quick bite or 12. It was very hot and he struck a great balance of giving us cold drink options and air conditioning. All of the food stops were great and we particularly liked the bao bun with pork belly and the braised pork rice stops. We were pleasantly surprised to have fallen in love with the pig blood cakes as well. Dave did a great job and we would absolutely book with him again.
Dave was a wonderful tour guide and every item we had was delicious! We were all definitely full by the end and got to see a lot of the area. I'm glad that I got to try some foods that I would have been scared to order on my own. Dave was also very helpful with pointing out other areas to explore and give food recommendations. Thank you!
We had a great day with Dave! The food was awesome, Dave was super knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the food and Taiwan in general. He even brought us to the metro at the end. There were places to sit along the way and a few pit stops to rest in the AC, which was important for our group. Absolutely recommend this tour. Come hungry!
Our guide David was great. Not only did we taste all kinds of delicious food but we also stopped at a small temple along the way and he gave us some local history. He also told us about some other places and things to eat during our trip. We highly recommend the tour!
Dave was excellent and had great knowledge of the local customs and community. He helped us retrieve our bag we left at a previous stop. Definitely recommend Dave as an excellent local guide to the tastes of Taiwan.
