Train booked and confirmed 10 days in advance. The day before departure, having heard nothing, I decided to contact the agency to ask for my train tickets. What a pleasant surprise when I was told that the train was full and that I didn't have a ticket. No communication regarding the status of my reservation. I expected better given the exorbitant prices of the tickets. I had to change absolutely all of my plans. It ruined the end of my trip. We lost 1 day. I therefore absolutely do not recommend this agency.
Chathum at Lakpura was very helpful and responsive when assisting me with booking a train ticket from Badulla to Ella. When the train I originally wanted to go on was not available he recommended another, which was absolutely just as good! He took care of the booking and being able to pay online in advance was helpful in ensuring I was on the correct train for my itinerary. The whole experience was over WhatsApp and he sent me a digital copy of my tickets that I was able to show at the station to receive the hard copies. Would recommend!
