Too much walk and talk- no good food. Not as advertised
We had a food tour in Greece and it was fantastic. Our Rome tour was painfully disappointing. $550 was $350 too much. Our 1 food stop was a tourist trap. We ate the night prior at a restaurant, paid 124 Euros and it was 10x better. It was 92 degrees and we walked for miles- no tapas, no gelato, no lemoncello, one beer stop with popcorn. Not as advertised. Description was nothing we got. I want a refund.

Great friendly and informative tour tailored to our preferences.
Our guide was educated and informative. We enjoyed different local food while seeing and discussing many historical sites. Our guide was very personable and it felt as though we were visiting and chatting with an old friend.

There were many memorable highlights of the tour, the food and especially the knowledge that our guide provided. We highly recommend Alessandro (Alex) as a local guide. No complaints and did an excellent job representing Viator

Delicious Fun with a Dose of Roman History
Our guide, Alexandra, personalized our food tour to showcase the very best of pastry/breads in Rome. We met in the center of Rome and toured the Jewish Quarter. We instantly hit it off. Alex was like meeting a good friend for lunch. We talked and laughed and ate our way through our tour which included the most delicious pastries, breads, Roman pizza, wine, cheeses, artichokes, gelato and I am sure I missed a few. We were stuffed! Alex was knowledgeable about the history of both the neighborhoods and the food itself. She was warm and personable and I would highly recommend a food tour with her. Well beyond our expectations. Alexandra is a gem!

Great Tour!
When we go to a new city, I always book our food tour first. It gives a chance to get to know the city and the food if you have a good guide. Claudio was excellent. Not only did we eat amazing food, but we also got to know the city of Rome. He went out of his way to introduce us to Rome's history by stopping by some amazing locations while feeding us excellent food. Highly recommended if Claudio is your guide.

Great food and great guide
We had such a great time! Our guide was awesome. He had taken the time to research places we'd like to go to enjoy some great treats. He is also very knowledgeable and was able to provide us additional insight to the area, beyond just the food. I would recommend this tour, and our guide, Alessandro. Very pleased with our tour!
