100年前の上海の商業の中心地であったこの地は、現在も商店や商店で賑わっています。 中国初の百貨店とその時代の先駆的な取り組みを知る
2軒の伝統的な老舗レストランを訪れます。 まずは1875年創業のブランド、たまごパンケーキと飯菓子のお店。 南京路で100年以上も定番の愛され店の、ふわふわもちもちもち米菓を味わう。 小豆とナッツごまのフィリングが絶妙にブレンドされており、一口一口が楽しい味の組み合わせです。 豆乳と合わせたオーダーメイドの中国語パンケーキもお見逃しなく。（朝食ツアーのみ） 2軒目は1986年創業のブランド「スープ餃子屋 」 。 汁餃子にそっとかぶりつくと、香ばしいカニのイクラ汁が口の中で破裂。 上海のもう一つの定番、スープベースのリトルワンタンがおいしい。
（ディナーツアーのみ） 19世紀の中国語南部のお菓子である煮込みミルクデザートは、濃厚でクリーミーな香りと独特の食感で、今や国民的人気となっています。 フルーツ好きにはたまらない、マンゴーをモチーフにしたデザートが登場！
人民広場を散策して街のエネルギーを取り込み、ごちそうを消化しましょう。 週末の結婚マーケットでは、両親が一緒になって子供のための試合を用意するなど、活気に満ちた人民公園を体験してください。 また、半世紀以上にわたって上海で最も高い超高層ビルを見学し、19世紀初頭の極東で最も豪華な映画館に足を踏み入れることもできます
上海を代表する朝食メニューのひとつ「盛堅」は、噛むたびにカリカリの皮がパリパリに。 ガラス麺スープの心地良い一杯と相性抜群です。 NYスタイルのピザとシカゴの深皿の論争のように、2つのスタイルのフライパンパンのライバル関係の話も聞ける！
（朝食ツアーのみ）注文を受けてできたての「ねぎパンケーキ」は、ネギを油で揚げて生地に香りを染み込ませる。 パンケーキは、パリッと香ばしく、深い満足感が得られる層状の食感！

Zoe with Eastbound and Beyond was amazing!! I’ve been on several food tours and this one was different. Our guide, Zoe, was friendly and knowledgeable. She felt more like a friend showing us around her city. She even set up an experience to make our own dumpling, which was harder than it looked. The best part about tour was there was no selling. We didn’t end up in a place that was “recommended” we “try” something, ie. buy from their partners. It was strictly about the food and the food was fantastic. Thanks, Zoe for highlighting the food and making our stay in Shanghai memorable.

We had a fantastic private walking food tour in Shanghai with Wen Jie, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. As an English-speaking guide, she made everything easy and enjoyable. Our private tour included a great variety of food stops—our favourites were definitely the crab roe xiao long baos and the sheng jian baos. The experience ended with a nice walk along the Bund, where Wen Jie shared interesting facts and history about Shanghai. It was not just a food tour, but also a really informative introduction to the city. Highly recommended!

Tour was great,it was our second day in Shanghai and our guide Roy showed us interesting locations and gave us deep insight into local cuisine and culinary tradition. He also gave us some fun facts about Shanghai and overall Chinese history. Excellent way to get to know Shanghai for any first time visitor.
