We had a great time on the reef snorkel trip! We enquired the day before and were able to book on at short notice for the next morning. We were collected from our hotel and the team were really friendly, enthusiastic and ensured that all attendees were safe throughout! I am beginner level so was a bit worried to begin with but really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Snorkeling at the coral jungle is the ONE THING that I would come back to Phu Quoc for! We took a private snorkeling trip to coral jungle(family of 4 ) with onbird and I have to say that I was VERY VERY IMPRESSED with them. Although my husband and I have been snorkeling whenever and wherever we get the chance, it was the first time we were taking the kids along and were a little concerned about the younger one (8 yo, who can only doggie paddle). The onbird team suggested that a private tour would be better suited for the kids than the small group tour we were planning to join. Although the private tour was pricier than the small group, I'm SO GLAD we decided to book it, because the onbird team went way above and beyond any expectations we had. To begin with as soon as I got in touch with them about booking a tour they made a whatsapp group for me and added 3 of their team members, so that I could ask questions and discuss where and when we want to go snorkeling. They were very prompt and detailed in their responses to all my queries. And also extremely helpful...going so far as to changing the dates at our request, when I fell sick just one day before the booked trip. On the day of the trip the 2 friendly, english speaking guides picked us up from our hotel. They were professional divers and well informed about the corals and marine life. A van took us to a beach with only a few locals around and a tiny shack coffee shop with great coffee. We got On the boat and the guide gave us a small presentation about do's and dont's for the coral site and what to expect, with pics of the corals and fish we would see. They had an ice box full of water bottles, diffrent sizes of life jackets and snorkeling gear on the boat. They took us to a calm beach and familiarized us with snorkeling and shared some tips and tricks. They provided snorkeling gear including fins and ensured we knew how to use them properly. They had a few diffrent sizes for the kids and took care to get them the perfect size. They were very patient with the kids and instructions and didnt push us to hurry, finally moving on to the 1st snorkeling location only when the guids were confident that we were all able to swim comfortably. The coral jungle location was Amaaaaazing!! With lots of corals and lots of colourfull fish. The corals weren't too deep and were clearly visible. The guids were quiet serious about our safety with one guid leading us and pointing out the interesting corals while the secong guide trailed the group ensuring no one was left behind, constantly checking that we were all OK (i was also very impressed with their commitment to the environment, they had a bag and collected any trash that was floating in the sea while we swam) They tied a float to my waist and one to my husband's to use if we get tired and ensured the little one wore a life jacket the whole time, even though he whined about it the whole time. They kept the kids engaged with games and showing them intresting fish and corals. After abouts 45 minuts we took a break on the boat, and talked to the guides about coral bleaching and the culture in our country vs Vietnam. 15 minuts later we swam to the next location....which was just really the other side of the same Island, but had even more intresting corals. Another half an hour of snorkeling and we swam back to the boat that took us to a rustic little resort on a beach. The resort had showering and changing rooms, (neat and clean but don't expect a 5 star hotel),beach beds and a swing. They served us sweet, ripe mangoes and whatever drinks we chose from a menu....which had beer, coconut water, smoothies, all kinds of iced tas and coffee. When we were done there was a van waiting to take us back to the hotel. All in all I was VERY VERY happy with how our trip was conducted! Totally worth the extra amount we paid. Hats off to the onbird team for their professionalism and commitment !! I highly recommend them!! Ps. They also had the option of underwater pictures for a small additional charge, but we chose not to do that.

We really enjoyed our snorkeling tour with On Bird. We had such a good first day at the Jungle Reef, so we booked again for a trip to the southern islands. This is what snorkeling should be - safety focused, environmentally conscious, and great equipment and guides. Many snorkeling tours put too many people in the water without good instructions... Not these guys! Small groups. Practice with gear before visiting the reef. A high level of focus on protecting the environment. The guides were friendly and fun. Each perfect day ended with time at a local beach to relax, reflect, and snack on some mango. If you love coral exploration, or want to become better at snorkeling, these are the people to travel with. A great Phú Quốc experience! 🙂

We had a wonderful day with Colin and Wade. They were fun, safety conscious guides who made sure everyone, whatever their level of ability, enjoyed the day to the full. The reef was stunning, we had lots of time to explore safely. The gear provided was of good quality. All the arrangements went very smoothly and it was just a beautiful experience. I recommend the photo package. Can highly recommend OnBird.

Wonderful tour 100%Fair. No hidden costs, top equipment. We were informed about the coral bleaching prior to booking. That's how it must be! Also suitable for absolute beginners, it has been paid great attention to safety and to ensure that even rather anxious contemporaries have their fun. Each service was delivered exactly as advertised. Anytime again! All guides languages good English and environmental protection was at the top. Here you can book blind. Wow!!!!😍 I highly recommend taking both of the tours for the full experience (north and south). I learned a lot from the wonderful instructors (Jack, Ryan, Tanny, Colin) who will also keep you safe and guide you throughout the whole day - they all speak very good English! You'll have enough time to explore the beautiful reef and relax on a beach and they will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. This amazing company is a dream come true for me personally.. they are true ocean lovers and they are doing their best to protect the reef and the marine life around the island. I'm already 60, a little weak after an illness and was unsure if I could keep up. But the team is super professional, clears all questions beforehand and the guides are super nice, competent and always vigilant. A really great trip away from the other tourist routes and the coral building project of OnBird I find mega!

It was a great tour and I even made some friends with the others on the trip. Both tour guides took really good care of us and made sure we knew how to snorkel and kept us safe the whole time. They were also extremely friendly and showed amazing hospitality. I also appreciated how they shared about the sustainability and environmental factors that we should keep in mind when we do these kinds of activities. Would definitely recommend this to others.
