1876 年に取り壊された別の市場の代わりに建設され、1930 年にオープンしました。 2010年から2011年にかけて行われた施設改修工事を経て、内装を全面リニューアル。
ポルトガルのこの海岸一帯を守るための近代的な要塞のプロジェクトは 14 世紀に遡り、川の入り口を制御することを目的としたサンティアゴ ド ウタン要塞の建設に始まりました。
アラビダ自然公園は、セトゥーバル半島にある生物遺伝保護区で、パルメラ、セトゥーバル、セジンブラの自治体を含み、ポルトガルのセトゥーバル地区のピコ ド フォルモジーニョ (標高 501 m) が最も標高が高くなります。全長は35キロメートルに及びます。
アゼイタンは、アラブ時代にその地域を支配していた広大なオリーブ畑のおかげで、「デ アゼイタン」という名前を共有するアゼイタンの古い教区 (サン ロレンソとサン シマン) によって形成されています。
パルメラ城は、ポルトガルのセトゥーバル地区の同じ名前の村、教区、自治体にあります。天守の頂上からは、晴れた日にはリスボンまでの眺めが広がります。

After several days of exploring on our own, this was a perfect way to see some new areas while giving our legs a rest. Our guide, Diogo, truly went above and beyond to make this a memorable day for us (including a wine/art tour and finding a handmade tile shop on our way!). He was a wealth of knowledge about the history of the area, and even tied in the history of the places we visited on the tour with the places we’d already seen to really understand how it all connected! Truly a wonderful day - our only regret was that we booked this near the end of our vacation and couldn’t have him take us on another excursion.

Had a fantastic time on this tour, my parents were super impressed with how knowledgeable our guide was with the area and all the sites were incredible. Would definitely recommend if you have limited time in Setubal to hit the main spots!

This is my second time booking the Arrábida: Setúbal tour with Outing Portugal. This was my cousin's first trip to Portugal, and Diogo planned a wonderful tour of Setúbal for us. Diogo Sampaio gave us the best tour of Setubal 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves to learn the history of on area or have convenient door to door tours of an unfamiliar area. We will be back for another tour very soon!

I booked a tour with Outing Portugal to Setúbal this summer. Diogo was very professional and knowledgeable about the region. The trip exceeded my expectations.
