The tour was cancelled on us the morning we were scheduled to be picked up. Due to how late the company cancelled on us we had no other options to book an alternative and none were provided for us. I would seriously consider booking with a different company if you actually want your trip to happen. I wish I had paid better attention to the other similar reviews.

There are two factual statements in it that do not correspond with the communication history recorded on Viator.
We completely understand your disappointment that the tour could not take place, and we are genuinely sorry that an unexpected family emergency affecting the assigned guide disrupted your plans. We would never dispute your right to feel disappointed by the cancellation.
However, your review states that the tour was cancelled on the morning you were due to be picked up and that no alternatives were provided.
The Viator message history shows that we contacted you at 1:02 AM on September 17, immediately after being informed that the guide would be unable to operate the tour. In that same communication, we offered either an upgraded tour on another available date during your stay or a full refund.
We also subsequently sent you four links to alternative experiences at 7:29 AM, specifically because we wanted to help you find another option for that day.
For that reason, the statement that “none were provided” is unfortunately not accurate.
I fully respect that the cancellation negatively affected your experience, but the review stating that we provided no alternatives and only informed you at the time of pickup, as those statements are contradicted by the message history on the platform, are simply not true.
We genuinely tried to assist you in an extremely difficult last-minute situation, while also immediately offering a full refund.
I hope you will consider correcting the review so that it accurately reflects what occurred.

No show - Don’t waste your time
I can’t even leave a no star review - but this one is a negative star. Tour guide no showed us along with not responding to our messages and phone calls. viator also had no luck reaching them! Scam avoid this all together unless you have time to waste and want your cc charged for no reason. Now it’s on me to get back our $1300 for this event that never occurred. Highly do not recommend!

We are genuinely sorry that an unexpected event prevented your tour from taking place. However, several statements in this review do not accurately reflect what happened.
All communication regarding this booking took place directly through the Viator platform, so there is a complete written record of our correspondence.
As that record shows, we contacted you regarding the issue, explained the situation, and immediately tried to find a solution. We offered to reschedule and upgrade your tour on another available day, and we also offered to try to find an alternative option. You informed us that you already had other bookings on the remaining days of your stay. Also offered options for that same day which you didn’t reply to.
Most importantly, your booking was fully refunded directly through the Viator platform. The refund was processed by us through Viator, so the statement that you were left to recover the amount yourself does not accurately reflect what occurred.
We completely understand your disappointment and frustration about the cancellation, and we sincerely regret that we were unable to operate your tour as planned.
However, we do not believe it is fair for statements to be made suggesting that we did not communicate, did not try to provide alternatives, or retained payment for a service that did not take place, when the Viator records show otherwise.
We have therefore asked Viator to review the complete communication history, refund record and circumstances surrounding this review, because we believe it is important that reviews accurately reflect what occurred.
We remain very sorry that we could not provide your experience, but we also believe that future travellers deserve the full and factual context.

The real Portugal
Lisbon was great but the tourist crowds were overwhelming. It was refreshing to get out of the city and experience the “real” Portugal. Our guide Margarida was lovely. She is not so much a typical tour guide but more someone who loves her country and loves sharing it! The wineries were great but the highlight of the trip for us was a wonderful lunch at a cafe where we were the only people not speaking Portuguese! Highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful views, great wine and even better service
We had a time to remember with this tour! For starters we were kindly met by our guide, Tiago at the doorstep of our hotel! This was truly helpful, as tourist it can be confusing to get around but Tiago was right on time, greeted us with a smile and made the beginning of our visit easy, by picking us up.
The view of the Tejo river on the way to Setubal was truly breathtaking making the travel time pleasant for my family and I.
In addition to the great views, our guide was kind enough to tells us about every spot of the city, gave us great recommendations and even some history about the place!
Setubal was lovely, we were even taken to an authentic Portuguese market, where we tried the best oysters ever! Having a guide with us at all times to help translate truly allowed us to enjoy the moment.
The wineries were a combination of Portuguese heritage and hidden gems without tourists, which was what my family and I enjoyed most!
Overall we were thrilled with the amazing wine tour and the wonderful service provided by our guide Tiago who made it his priority for us to have a great time, sit down and relax.

Beware
Very disappointing! They cancelled our tour without any communication. I was checking pick up time the day before and saw they cancelled. They did not reach out before or after. Beware of this.

10 stars all the way!
We booked this tour last minute and it was the best decision! Much better than expected. Our guide Nídia was just wonderful. She was so easy going and friendly that we felt like family. The tour itself was perfect in every way . So much to see and do. Portuguese wine and food is just out of this world! Have no words. Best tour ever! 10 stars!

Mechanical breakdown forced cancellation
The tour operator cancelled the tour that morning as the guide reported a mechanical failure to the vehicle while on the way to our pick-up point, requiring tow service. They advise attempts to replace the vehicle were unsuccessful as all other guides and vehicles were already assigned. Obviously unable to rate provider, but you have to choose a star or more.
