Carolina is very personable, knowledgeable and patient (super important for large groups). She made personal connects with everyone in the group and educated us on the local culture, food and people. Loved the whole experience.

My tour with Carolina was the highlight of my entire trip! She was recommended through my accommodation host, and rightly so, because not only was the tour itself incredibly insightful and authentic, but so was Carolina! She was kind, funny and full of incredible information on the region. Everything was seamless from start to finish and I felt like I was able to get an experience that wasn’t just the usual tourist hotspots. Most importantly, Carolina LOVES Setúbal, and I think the best part of the tour was getting to experience everything through the eyes of someone who is genuinely adores the area and the people in it. Her mother even gifted me a painted rock with the places I had visited that day on it! It was so thoughtful and the personal touches are really what made this experience better than the rest!

We had such a great time with Carolina and our tour through Arrabida. Her knowledge of the area was so impressive and enlightening on the culture and history of the area. We stopped to do a quick visit of the Forte de Sao Felipe and we ended getting a tour of the dungeon area below the forte that was very cool. Topped the afternoon off with wine tasting at local winery and relaxed. Tour was great - Wine was great and we will use her again. Added bonus is we had no car, and She picked us up and dropped us off at our Hotel (Melia) -

I just LOVED everything about my time with Carolina! She's totally professional and knowledgeable, but so uniquely wonderful as a guide. What a great day discovering Portugal history and culture with Carolina! We learned so much about the beautiful coastline of the Arrabida mountains, Setúbal, Sesimbra and more! Carolina put together a custom tour for us. We had limited time, but she managed to make it work for our group of four. It was awesome! Just the right amount of history, culture, and local knowledge. She clearly loves what she does and knows how to read people — what they need, when to share their history, and when to let them wander and take in what they are seeing.
