This was a great tour of relevant WWII Canadian sites. It was a full day tour with stop for lunch. The van was comfortable and our guide Emmanuel was excellent. Highly recommended!

Excellent day. Well paced. Guide very knowledgeable and so lovely. A very full and meaningful review of more than just Juno beach but also the advancement of the Canadian military successes and challenges. Canada is well honoured in Normandy. Juno Canadian museum and bunker tour excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It covered so many elements of what the Canadian’s role was and what they experienced on D Day. It was a very informative and moving experience for us as Canadians with relatives who fought in this war. And a shout out to our great tour guide Stephan! He was extremely knowledgeable and we really enjoyed spending the day with him!

Our guide for the day was Pauline, who was very nice, friendly and extremely knowledgable of the general history and details of the D-Day invasion of June Beach. She was prepared with maps showing the Canadian troop movements and photographs taken during and following the invasion. The tour was comprised of numerous stops, starting with a visit to Juno Beach, the museum and tour of a German bunker. We proceeded inland to sites with historical significance such as Canada House, the Canadian Cemetery and villages which appeared in famous photographs of the invasion, where the fighting was, literally, door-to-door. I was the only American among a van of Canadians. I could tell they felt the same source of pride as I did when I visited Omaha and Utah beaches. Although Juno Beach wasn't where my countrymen fought and died, it was important to me to honor Canadian D-Day sacrifices, especially in light of the current political environment.

This tour was a comprehensive tour of a variety of aspects of the Canadians' activities in Normandy. A lots of stops were packed into one day - there was a perfect mix of our tour guide telling us about a monument or location with time to visit most stops in an appropriate amount of time. The tour guide, Helene, was friendly, knowledgeable, a good driver. She was an excellent tour guide. If you want to go to the Juno Beach centre and hit the highlights, this was a good tour. I had gone a few days before and spent 4 hours at the Centre so this stop allowed me to cover some things I missed or wanted to see again.

The tour and guide were excellent. Visited many sites and learned a great deal of information. Guide was very personable, and did his best to ensure we had a great day. Assisted us with ordering lunch. Well organized. Our guide was excellent, 10/10. Consistently helpful. The only drawback for the event was that it was scheduled as an English tour and we had three guests ( 2 probably understood English) and he repeated everything in French. They signed up for an English tour so they should have had basic English with key information in French. Friends could have assisted. It was exhausting on the head as there was a lot of information shared and he repeated everything in French. This caused us to take longer at each stop and delayed us 1.5 hours. With so much heavy information a bit of silence would have been appreciated. It also prevented us from learning about the guide and the opportunity to share stories with some lighter moments about the area. All business all the time. 🤦‍♀️ He made a joke the only time he speaks French is in regards to traffic. 😉. But not today. The eighth seat is uncomfortable. Should max at 7 persons.

Went with my father and partner for a full day tour. I want to give a special shout out to our lovely local guide Stefan who was friendly and extremely knowledgeable (on all topics Normandy!). Our tour was extensive with great storytelling and good pacing between a range of sites - bunkers, abbeys, memorials, beaches, museum, etc. A full day! Thank you so much Stefan xx

Terrific day if you are Canadian or interested in Canada’s role in the D-Day invasion and subsequent battle of Normandy. Very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide and a small group of only 6 people.
