It was a very touching experience to learn and be right where this event in history occurred. It rained when we went and it was a reminder of how it rained the day it really happened.

We had an amazing day with Matt. His range of knowledge was outstanding, not just about DDay and WWII but also French and English history dating back to 1066 and before. He highlighted the human elements and cost of the war and put it all in perspective.

What a day! We were three people for nine hours of touring, history, and exceptional sites. We were so lucky to have the option to say what we wanted to see and go from there. David was an exceptional guide.

Long day. Area is more expansive than what you may think. Guide can allow for customization but limited by distances and time.

Ellen was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all (of our many) questions. The itinerary she put together was perfect and her recommendations for which museums to visit were spot on.

It's comprehensive, yet customizable. Book in advance and note that the price can vary among tour providers. You will learn a lot, and much of what you learn will be surprising.

It was an excellent tour. In particular, our tour guide (a lady named "Manon") was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable about D-Day and the Normandy campaign in general. Even down to the finer details such as how the components of the Mulbery Harbour were constructed in Britain & towed across the English Channel to the Gold Beach Sector in order to create an artificial harbour for allied Naval ships. In addition, Manon was always kind and considerate & happy to answer our many questions about the Normandy Campaign. We felt very fortunahite indeed to have Manon as our guide. Also, the D-Day beaches & other places that we visited on the tour (e.g. German artillery emplacements & observation posts) were very interesting. The tour by Normandy Sightseeing Tours was done extremely well. Fustin, our guide, arrived in time and was well prepared for the “English weather” we were going to experience the remainder of the day. His knowledge and side stories all during the day had all four of us completely engagaed. Fustin was also able to get us into a couple of places, including an old farm home with some history we all found fascinating. Fustin’s knowledge of the history provided us a Master Class on D Day. Súper informative, friendly tour guide. Assisted us to have a family ceremony for relative at American cemetery. Patient with us as my kids and I climbed into and out of every german defensive pillbox. Brought us to a boulangerie for a delicious take out lunch to keep us moving on our tour.
