It was very deceiving about the boat ride. You need to have that to get to Venice. Many people in our group thought this was a canal boat ride not a ferry.

Also, just to clarify, we do not have ferries in Venice — we have boats. If you meant a gondola ride, please note that it has never been listed among the tour inclusions.

Venice Venice....
The tour itself was well-organized and perfectly paced. We explored the Doge's Palace, marveled at the Rialto Bridge, and got lost in the narrow streets of the San Polo district. Our guide even recommended some amazing local eateries and cafes, where we indulged in delicious Venetian cuisine.
What struck me most was the unique blend of Byzantine, Gothic, and Renaissance architectural styles that make Venice so visually stunning. And, of course, the food! Fresh seafood, traditional cicchetti, and gelato to die for...

We will always remember.
I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable trips we've ever taken together. The trip was a long-awaited family getaway, and I planned every detail to ensure our time there would be special. What I didn't expect was just how magical the experience would be.

Plenty of time to spare before our ship's departure.
From the moment we stepped off the ship, everything was seamlessly organised. We explored St. Mark's Basilica, Doge's Palace, and took a romantic Gondola ride through Venice's canals.

Venice in a Day?
I recently joined a full-day tour to Venice from Trieste, and it was amazing! We got to see all the top spots like the beautiful Giudecca Canal, the impressive Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo, and the famous Rialto Bridge. We also visited the stunning Basilica di San Marco and the Doge’s Palace. The guide was super knowledgeable and made everything even more interesting. Plus, the transportation was smooth and comfortable. Definitely recommend this tour if you want to experience the best of Venice!

Fine first intro to Venice but description of itinerary led to higher expectations.
The trip started with miscommunication about how to meet the driver after leaving the ship. Ride to Venice was comfortable in Mercedes vans but takes 2 hours. Smooth transition to water taxi. Guide was good and gave narrative about the main sites. The description of the excursion indicated that would see inside buildings (especially the palace) but we never went in any building. The period of free time means that one probably should preorder tickets.

1) To prevent any confusion, we highly advise careful attention to the “Pickup-Meeting” section of this tour description and the precise pick-up instructions sent to your email and phone 36 hours prior to your tour start time.
2) The "Inclusions" section lacks mention of any admission.
3) “Additional Information” section notes that due to the limited timeframe available during cruise stops, passengers will not have time to explore interiors.
4) The duration of the transfer from Trieste to Venice is clearly stated in this tour description as 2 hours ( one way)
5) The free period signifies nothing else but free time - an opportunity for leisure, lunch, shopping, strolling, and the like.
