Marika is a wonderful guide. We loved every minute of our tour. Luigi the horse is beautiful and everyone in town seems to know him. We learned a lot about the history of Lucca and got a great view from on top of the wall. Loved it!

After much consideration, my wife and I agree that our tour with Marika and Mario (Marika's horse) was our favorite experience of our ten days in Italy, Three of those days being spent in Lucca. Marika delighted us with some of the history of this beautiful town and Mario amused us with his gentle disposition and apparent celebrity with the residents of Lucca. We will take this tour again some day!

A fantastic 90 minute experience exploring Lucca's old town and the city walls. We were met promptly at the arranged time in the Piazza Napoleone. We covered the old town with Marika constantly giving us interesting information about the sites, events, history.... She and Luigi navigated the tiny streets amazingly. Both are charming! It was very memorable and worth every penny (cent!).

Marika and her horse Mario have given my family and me a wonderful time! The best way to get to know Lucca! Marika has introduced us to Lucca's sights and stories very knowledgeably and in very good English. In addition, it was very special to see how harmoniously, calmly and safely Marika steers her horse through the hustle and bustle of Lucca, very impressive! It was an enriching tour in every way!

She was very professional and attentive. She explained to us the historical moments which delighted us. I recommend it because a great time with Marika and Mario her horse.

We actually wanted to see the cathedral and then saw the carriage and the beautiful horse that just nibbled on its hay. Mario as it turned out during a very nice conversation with Marika. The two of them drove us through the city. You could feel the beautiful connection between horse and man that Mario and Marika have. Only with voice was the tempo changed or stopped. Impressive! Also impressive was Mario's composure in any situation and the driving skills of the two through the streets of Lucca. Which in some places are really not wide. Mario and Luigi (Marika's 2. Horse) are well known all over the city and the children were already calling from a distance which of the two it is (mega cute). Mario also has his treats stations at various shops in the city, where he then stops and sticks his head in the door 🥰😍 You just notice the two you can only like. On Top, Marika tells you great facts about the city! We even made a little trip to the city walls. Just a beautiful backdrop, just as the magnolias are blooming. By the way, Mario has a rubber fitting in town so that his irons don't slip and his tendons and co are spared. You can just tell the horse welfare is of very high importance to Marika. Overall, we were traveling around the hour. Truly a unique experience that really can't top anything

What an amazing experience. Marika is so knowledgeable and accommodating and friendly. Seeing Lucca in a horse and carriage was the highlight of our trip to Italy.

Very friendly, great English and a very interesting tour. We saw a lot of the Old Town and the wall too while saving our feet and knees.
