I was extremely pleased with the Foodist cooking class with Luc, a Michelin star chef. We started with going to the market to select the food we were going to prepare. We then returned to the Foodist to prepare the food. Luc did an excellent job of explaining the steps to prepare each of the four dishes, he also briefly explained the science behind the cooking method. We then split in various groups, and each participated in preparing the menu - cauliflower soup, a new version of coq au vin, gratin dauphinois, and peach melba. We were served wine while cooking to make the experience all the more authentic. The results were absolutely delicious and we had such a fun time. It was obvious through-out that Luc was an excellent chef and was gifting us with some of his talents. They also sent us the recipes a day later. I took another cooking class in Paris a couple of years ago but this was was sooo much better. I learned so much more. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to enjoy a day of cooking in Paris and be able to taste the results.

Excellent experience all the way. However, we have not received the recipies as promised.

Luc was amazing we loved his explanations and his passion for what he does.

My daughter and I attended the full day cooking class with Frederick. The experience was wonderful. The storytelling, the robust engagement amongst the other attendees, the quality of the food, and the overall joy, was memorable.

Chef Frederic created such a lovely experience for my Mom and I during our recent visit to Paris.The menu was well planned out and Chef Frederic does such an amazing job of balancing teaching the techniques and making sure everyone is having a great time learning. Being able to cook and enjoy the meal made for an unforgettable day! I have enjoyed making the recipes now that we have returned home and sharing the experience with our family in California. Thanks to the chef and Le Foodist!

This is one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had as a family-honestly the highlight of our vacation. Frederic was an exceptional host. The food was amazing and we all appreciated a different way of learning the French culture as well as new cooking techniques. Cannot recommend enough!!!

This was the perfect cooking class with Frédéric. He was a pleasure to be with funny and very personable.

What a fun day! Frederic was funny, engaging, and taught a great class. We walked to a local market, sampled cheeses, help pick out vegetables, then went to the restaurant for the class, wine and an incredible lunch. I would do this again!

One of the best meals we have had in a very long time. Instructor was so engaging, funny, sarcastic and knowledgeable. Love every minute. Wish we could get produce in the states like we got in the market. Highly recommend.
