Lodhi Gardens Worth a Visit
The Lodhi gardens is a must-see. Very beautiful and full of great history. Our tour guide was a contractor though and had never been to the gardens so didn’t have much information to give us which was a let-down as there is so much history there. We had a bit of trouble finding our driver and then had to wait to pick up our tour guide so we started about an hour late. However, the tour operator was very helpful and responsive when we were having trouble finding the driver. I think in the future if we went to lodhi gardens again, we’d skip the Viator tour and just go alone.

Lodhi Gardens is indeed one of Delhi’s most atmospheric spots, with its blend of greenery and centuries-old architecture making it especially rich in history and character.
It’s good to hear you still found the location itself beautiful and meaningful despite the challenges faced during the guided portion of the experience.
That said, it’s understandable how the lack of familiarity from the guide and the delay in coordination impacted the overall flow of your tour, especially in a place where context can add so much value. It’s also reassuring that the tour operator remained responsive and supportive while sorting out the logistics, even if the overall experience didn’t fully meet expectations.
Appreciate you sharing such honest feedback—reflections like yours are important for improving consistency, and I hope your future explorations in Delhi bring you a much smoother and more enriching experience!

Wonderful green lung of New Delhi
What a peaceful garden. Great for escaping the noisy hustle and bustle of the city. You can easily take a 2 hour walk through the park and see the old graves of the Lodhi rulers. We walked through the garden on a misty day and this gave us wonderful pictures. The garden is certainly a photographers delight. The next day we went on a guided tour. Our guide took us through the park giving us the information we needed to get an idea of history of these graves.

Breathtaking garden
An oasis amidst the constant contrasts of beauty and chaos New Delhi is. Lodhi garden has a variety of stunning ancient sites, botanic richness and ornamental garden designs to please all sort of tastes as to accommodate an hour or day long tour. A "must" to visit regardless the length of your stay in New Delhi.
