On the day I went, the crowd was thin. There's no admission fee. The path leading up to the empty tomb is magnificent. Near the entrance, there's a duck sanctuary. There are monkeys around, so just make sure you're aware of your surroundings. One decided to hug my leg and when I looked down, s/he was looking up at me. I said hi, what's up? and kept going. Be prepared to spend 2-3 hours on a stroll at a leisurely pace. Some paths are uneven and you'll need to climb some steps to see the tomb and former mosque. So, wear comfy shoes. There's a water fountain station if you forget to bring a bottle of water. I saw several groups with tour guides. You could hire one if it's available. No guide hassled me when I entered and I was comfortable checking out various spots at my own pace. I'd recommend this place if you're thinking of decompressing or are into parks and archeological sites.
