Knowledgeable guide and good vibes
JD is a really dedicated guide, who loves his home town of Delhi, and it shows!
We met up at the Lodhi art neighborhood in Delhi, and walked around looking at different murals, painted by artists from all over the world.
It would have been harder to truly admire the art without JD's explanations, because he talks about each mural and each artist, and the meaning behind the art.
He also does interviews with the artists, who give him a bit of behind the scenes and extra knowledge about each piece, and he includes these bits of info in the tour.
As a break, we had masala tea made by him, cookies, and samosas from a local vendor.
And last but not least, JD is a talented street photographer, and he can take well-composed and fun shots for your social media!

Best Delhi Street Art Walk – A Hidden Gem Beyond the Monuments
As it was my last day in Delhi, I had already visited the major monuments and wanted to do something different. I booked this Delhi Street Art Walk at the last minute, and I’m so glad I did. It turned out to be one of the most relaxing and memorable things to do in Delhi.
The walk through the Lodhi Art District was calm, colourful, and full of fascinating stories. What made the experience special was our host, JD, who has personally met many of the artists behind the murals. His stories, insights, and conversations felt natural, making every artwork come alive.
The pace was perfect, and the whole experience was well organised without ever feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a unique walking tour in Delhi, a street art tour beyond the usual tourist attractions, or simply a different side of the city, I highly recommend booking this experience with the Explore Real India team.

Delhi Street art Tour - A Refreshing Escape from Old Delhi
If you’re looking for something completely different from the hustle, noise, and crowds of Old Delhi, this experience is the perfect addition to your itinerary. It’s peaceful, insightful, and unlike the usual tourist attractions.
The collection of stunning, massive murals and minerals is fascinating, and the host does a fantastic job explaining the stories behind the artwork, the artists, and their significance. What made the experience even more special was how warm and approachable the host was. You can ask anything about everyday life in Delhi from a local’s perspective, making the visit feel personal and authentic.
And I can’t forget the homemade chai it was absolutely delicious! JD’s signature chai blend is genuinely something special and worth trying.
Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. I would happily book more experiences with Explore Real India and highly recommend this one to anyone looking for a deeper, more meaningful side of Delhi.

If you want to experience something unique and different during your Delhi stay,
I highly recommend this tour!Walking through the Lodhi Art District was an absolute highlight.
Our guide, JD, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a fantastic understanding of each artwork, explaining the history of why it was painted and the deeper meaning behind every mural.The experience was made even better with great local food and delicious chai along the way. Amazing art, peaceful neighborhood to wander, great guide!
JD did an amazing job showing us around the Lodhi art neighborhood. He personally has met all the artists and worked hard to understand and convey their motivations behind each mural. His English is very easy to understand and his personality makes it feel like he's your family. He served us chai and a snack halfway through. He drove us between some murals in his AC car. I have also done his cooking class and market tour and would highly recommend doing all 3! Thanks. JD!

Beautiful morning spent wondering Jodhi with Jandeep. A real delight to see a very different green, calm and artistic side of Delhi. Jandeep was a very knowledgeable and talented host - his special chai blend was delicious! Highly recommend!

Excellent way to experience a quieter part of Delhi
We were looking for art-related experiences in Delhi and this street art walk did not disappoint. JD was engaging, knowledgable and entertaining. The pace was perfect to see and appreciate many of the street murals while not feeling rushed at all. Alternating between walking and driving between the murals was perfect for our group. The high schoolers loved it, and even my 12-year-old was won over by JD's delicious chai and the animals (dogs and cows) we met along the way. He took so many great pictures of us, shared stories, and pointed out details we never would have noticed on our own. Highly recommended and we look forward to booking with JD for some of his other experiences in the future!

Fabulous Street Art Walk!!
The Lodhi Art District walk in Delhi was fantastic! JD was a great guide and provided very good and very interesting information. It is clear that he is passionate about the street art in Delhi and his passion clearly shows through. The various murals are beautiful and meaningful, and JD does a great job in bringing out that meaning. We would highly recommend this Walk/tour.

Art, insight and humour - all in a cup of chai!
JD’s Lodhi Art District walk was one of the best ways we could have started a Delhi morning. JD is a fantastic storyteller. You don’t just “see murals”, you understand what the artists were trying to say as JD has met many of the artists personally. He guided us through pieces by Indian and international artists, pointing out small details you’d not likely notice alone, like the humour hidden in the imagery, the “call your mom” message, a portal-arch to health and wealth, and the clever social commentary about phones, algorithms and how we view the world through a screen. We also loved the air-pollution ink mural explanation and the pandemic “lockdown” arch narrative. JD kept things relaxed, interactive (great photo moments), and genuinely engaging. The chai, biscuits and little snacks were such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended if you want art + local insight, not just sightseeing.
