The tour service contacts you through WhatsApp so pay attention to that, and Viator keeps confirming your tour through text messages.
We had booked 430pm tour and we're there at 4pm to find out it left at 330pm after some back and forth arguing, they put us on a tuktuk tour, not what we wanted or paid for, but Michele the driver made up for it.
He was unbelievable and took us all around and explained the town to us so we'll.
He made the ordeal so enjoyable.
If Viator is going to keep confirming your tour time, they should stay in touch with the tour company for any time changes to notify you.

City to visit at dusk and in the evening
You must see this city at sunset and in the evening. The bus tour is an excellent way to visit since this city is on high ground. The history of this city is worth learning. The visits to a museum and a sassi were very interesting.

It was as advertised and hit the highlights, which is what we wanted. Maybe a little too short , not good overall

Definitely a MUST!
Ima the guide is absolutely wonderful. Made sure we were all on the same page. Spoke clearly and was very descriptive of the history allowing us to invision the living back in 1950,60,70,'s etc.

Excellent way to see highlights of Matera in comfort
A good way to see the key highlights of Matera. Small bus group. It was hot so not having to walk far was welcome. Tour guide knowledgeable. You don’t need to download the app or bring headphones as the English narrative is through speakers on the bus.
