Brilliant, the tour guide 00M was brilliant and driver was excellent, trip is a long one from Bangkok but well worth it, don’t know where to start with explaining everything so people just do it it’s worth the money and this tour company where brilliant from contact to pick ups and drop offs, my only thing I would mention is the museum could do with some tidying up, displays where dirty and the film was good but could do with better speakers but that’s not down to the tour company but perhaps they could pass it on, by the way if your on the train journey sit on the right if you have your back to the engine or left if your facing it lol, you get the best view. Well done tour company your where brilliant, Special mention to the Aussie and Canadian ex pats m, it was brilliant to meet you .
Dear Cavyn_H, Thank you for your brilliant review! We are so pleased to hear that your trip to the Bridge on the River Kwai was well worth the journey and that our guide, Oom, and our driver took such great care of you. It’s wonderful to know that you found our communication and logistics seamless from start to finish. We also appreciate your specific tip about the best side of the train to sit on for the views—I'm sure future travelers will find that "pro-tip" very helpful! Regarding your feedback about the museum displays and audio, we truly appreciate your candor. While those facilities are managed independently, we value your input and will certainly share your suggestions with the museum management to help improve the experience for everyone. Thank you for choosing IAsia Thailand, the leader in historical tours and travel experiences throughout Thailand. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon! Best regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)
That you are disorganised! ! I had a message last night you didn’t have enough people, and I’ll be taking the tour on Tuesday!
Dear Gideon, Thank you for your email. Allow me to clarify the situation in full. The tour was originally scheduled for the 19th. As there were fewer participants on that date, we asked if you would be willing to move the tour to the 21st, and you kindly agreed. Viator also sent you confirmation of this change. For this reason, I would not describe our team as “disorganised" or "messed up". We did send both an email and a message, and you confirmed your agreement to join the tour on the 21st. Had you not agreed, we would have processed a refund for you. I am happy to provide screenshots (only 2 and we masked your hotel) we have others if you wish https://www.pasteboard.co/os8N0-Y4f2uo.png https://www.pasteboard.co/k1AJLGVn7wmQ.png Thank you for your understanding. Everything as expected but long drive and HOT
Dear Wayne B, Thank you for your review. We are glad you found the history of the Railway compelling and that the tour met your expectations. We certainly agree that the heat can be intense; April is the hottest month of the year in Thailand, and the journey to Kanchanaburi can feel a bit longer when the temperatures are so high! We hope the moving history of the site made the 'painful' heat a bit more bearable. Thank you for choosing iAsia Thailand. Best regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)
This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! Oom our guide, spelled out exactly what we were going to do the entire day. It was very clear and concise, so there were no surprises. The museum was very moving, the boat ride was fast and fun! The train ride and the walk over the river was amazing. And lunch was fantastic, great view!
Dear 761leahw, Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that this was one of the best tours you’ve ever been on. We will be sure to pass your kind words along to Oom. She takes great pride in ensuring our guests have a 'clear and concise' itinerary so they can relax and truly take in the history and beauty of the day. It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the contrast of the moving museum visit with the excitement of the boat ride and that fantastic lunch view! Thank you for choosing iAsia Thailand for such a memorable experience. Best regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)
Informative, varied and interesting excursion and very thought provoking due to the nature of the visit. It was a long drive but very glad we went. I would have preferred a slightly later pick up time to enable us to have breakfast in the hotel rather than a stop at a coffee shop 20 minutes in to tne journey!
Dear 17je, Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are glad that you found the excursion to the River Kwai informative and thought-provoking; it is indeed a powerful piece of history to experience in person. We appreciate your feedback regarding the early pick-up time. Because the journey to Kanchanaburi involves navigating Bangkok’s morning traffic and ensuring we arrive in time for the train departure on the Death Railway, an early start is usually necessary to fit everything in. However, we take your comments about the breakfast stop seriously and will review our itinerary timing with our operations team. Thank you for choosing iAsia Thailand for such a significant journey. Best regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)
We didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be the highlight of Bangkok. The tour was extremely interesting, the guide was very informative and knowledgeable, and the pace of the tour was good. Lunch was delicious too.

We truly believe that the history of this site is best experienced with a knowledgeable guide who can bring the stories to life, so we are thrilled that you found the insights informative. We also understand that it’s a long day, so we’re glad the pacing and the lunch provided made the journey comfortable and enjoyable for you. We appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you on another one of our historical journeys in the future! Best regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)
I joined this tour at the end of February and had a very good experience. It was a well-organized, full-day trip to the River Kwai and the surrounding area. Everything ran smoothly, and our guide, “00M,” was professional and knowledgeable, sharing the historical details clearly and accurately. There was really nothing to complain about, it was good value for money. I would highly recommend this tour if you’re planning to visit the River Kwai.
Dear Tino, Thank you so much for your kind review! We are delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience on our River Kwai and Thailand-Burma Railway tour this February. It is wonderful to know that everything ran smoothly and that you found the trip to be a good value. We are especially proud to hear your praise for Oom. She is a valued member of our team, and we will be sure to share your compliments with her—she will be thrilled to know her historical knowledge and professionalism made your day memorable. We truly appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you on another adventure soon! Best regards, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)
We made the tour of the bridge being in the “village” but privately. A beautiful building that deserves the excursion below the prison camp unfortunately left completely abandoned
Since this review is in French and touches on both the historical site and the condition of the museum/camp area, your response should be respectful of the history while clarifying the distinction between the bridge and the surrounding memorials.
