We spent a lovely afternoon with Erica. Her knowledge as a pastry chef added a lot to the experience, and she also generously shared her knowledge as a working musician with my son, which gave the tour a whole new dimension for him. A great way to orient yourself when you first arrive in the city -- we frequented one of the boulangeries we visited on the tour several times during our stay. One thing I wish I would have learned from the reviews -- if you were interested in trying the Beef Bourguignon, as we were, that stop is only included on the evening tour. While we enjoyed the beautiful brasserie with the choucroute garni, it's a dish we've had many times before and not one I think of as quintessentially Parisian.

I'm sorry that the Beef Bourguignon tasting wasn’t part of this experience as expected — it’s only included on the evening tour — but we hope you still enjoyed the beautiful brasserie stop and the rest of the tastings along the way.
