Nice and friendly guide. Easy for kids as well. Great way to experience Le Marais and get a first impression of the area.
Had a great day with our guide Matthew walking around La Marais. Would highly recommend we really enjoyed it.

I love the food tour such a fun area. From croissants to choc to meats to cheeses

Very good experience lived. You can come that you will be welcomed!
Thank you for sharing your experience! We hope Secret Food Tours becomes one of the experiences you recommend whenever this city comes up in conversation. We hope to see you again.
There was plenty of food, and the largest portion came early on-the Croque Monsieur. After that it was smaller bites. There was one red and one white wine offered at one stop only. So don’t book this if you’re looking for more wine. The food variety was interesting and Sharif gave some historical information as well as cheese explanations.
We appreciate your review. Thank you for choosing Secret Food Tours and giving us the opportunity to be part of your time in the city. We hope to host you again!
Etienne, our guide, was awesome. He knew the food, the neighborhood, and all the history. The food we sampled was really, really good and we had a great time.
Thank you for being our guest. Your support means a great deal to everyone at Secret Food Tours. We hope to welcome you back before long!
I thought the food tour would be a nice change of pace from all the museums and also a good way to see the Le Marais district for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids around ages 19/20). Overall, I don't think it was worth the $140 per person cost. The food was subpar and the "fine wines" referenced in the description turned out to be $8 a bottle online. I wonder if the tour guide receives compensation from the food places we stop at. The tour guide, Pinky, was just ok. She provided some interesting background, but I felt it was a bit incomplete. Also, at times, it was hard to understand the points she was making to us. That said, she has a lot of great reviews on Viator so take my review with a grain of salt. Overall, if I had to do it again, I would just use an audio guided tour of Le Marais on my phone and spent the $700 for the 5 of us on better food, wine and other treats.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We appreciate you choosing to explore Le Marais with us and understand that the experience did not meet your expectations. Our tours are designed to offer more than just a collection of tastings. Along the way, guests experience the neighborhood through its history, culture, and local stories, while visiting carefully selected independent businesses that help bring the destination to life. The food is one part of the overall experience, with tastings thoughtfully spaced throughout the tour so guests can enjoy each stop without feeling too full midway. We're also glad you mentioned that Pinky shared interesting background during the tour. She has received many positive reviews from guests who have enjoyed her knowledge and approach, though we understand that every guiding style resonates differently with different people. We do appreciate you sharing your perspective, as feedback like yours helps us continue refining the experience. We hope you'll consider joining us again on another Secret Food Tour in the future, where we'd welcome the opportunity to provide a more enjoyable experience.
I have taken a few Secret Food Tours and I had a blast on this one as well. Paris is a great city to explore its cuisine. We had everything from cheeses to chocolate. We sampled about 5 or 6 different places. The wine that was paired with the food was fantastic! We also learned a lot about French cuisine history as well as some of the local areas. The Marais is a great place for its cuisine. The tour was around 3 hours long and the admission fee was worth what you get! We had a small group size of around 10 or so. I would highly recommend this tour!
Thank you for joining us! Reading your comments was a welcome reminder that even a few hours together can leave a lasting impression. We hope to welcome you back to Secret Food Tours.
Guide very passionate about the food and the area. Would definitely recommend. Food and wine were excellent and guide very knowledgeable about both
We appreciated having you with us. The stories guests take home are never exactly the same, and that's one of the things we enjoy most about what we do. We'd love to welcome you back to Secret Food Tours!
