Americans curate experiences like no one else! Super fast elevator with surround panorama of the area. Observation decks enclosed ( thank goodness). The tower is a symbol of regrowth, resilience and a giant middle finger to the world!

Ok so our 5th NY viewing gallery, this was pretty pricey for what it gives. Once on the 100th floor we had clear views of the surrounding area but that’s about it, not as spectacular as the Edge or as entertaining as Vanderbilt, I must say the lifts were brilliant and interactive but as it was so quiet on our visit we were the only two in the lifts both ways, not sure you get the same experience with a full lift.

Amazing views from the tallest building in NYC We visited One World Observatory on a Tuesday afternoon and really enjoyed the experience. The lift up was a great touch, showing how the New York skyline has developed over the years as you travel upwards. Once at the top, the views are incredible. We had already visited SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, which I personally preferred overall as an experience, but One World offers something different. You are so high up and can see much further across the city, including great views towards the Statue of Liberty. It wasn’t particularly busy when we visited and we never felt rushed, so we could spend as much time as we wanted taking in the views. We also decided to eat at the restaurant. We hadn’t booked, but the staff were really friendly and managed to give us a table right by the window. It was technically near the toilets, but from a view perspective it was actually a hidden gem of a table! The food itself was fairly average, so I wouldn’t necessarily visit just for the food, but having a meal with that view made it a really memorable experience. There isn’t a huge amount else to do once you’re at the top, so this attraction is definitely mainly about the views. However, being able to go to the top of the tallest building in New York makes it feel like one of those experiences worth doing at least once. If you’re already visiting another observation deck such as SUMMIT, I wouldn’t say One World is essential purely for the view, but the height, views towards the Statue of Liberty and experience of being in One World Trade Center make it unique enough to justify visiting.

Honestly, I would skip it. I would go to the Summit at One Vanderbilt instead. The views were mediocre. The lines were incredibly long. And it was far too crowded. The summit has multiple rooms that are huge so you don’t feel like you’re stuck with a whole bunch of other people and they have a bar that’s actually open.

Wonderful! This place is beautiful and really well done. This was the only observatory we did so I don’t have much to compare it to. We went at 6:30pm so got to experience the views right as the sun was setting. I would highly recommend this!

A great experience and the views over NYC were fantastic! We went a day after visiting the 9/11 memorial so it was all the more poignant and looking down from the top really made you think!

Nice advantage point to have a 360 degree view of Manhattan and other NYC boroughs, and neighboring states, New Jersey and Connecticut.

We went first thing in the morning and there were no crowds. The views were spectacular.

Wonderful sight at night Met some first responders as we were there on the 9/11 weekend. Well worth it!
