I had a really great experience at the great wall tour. My driver was very kind and helped me to make the most of my experience, and the communication was quick and seamless. Would really recommend this tour as it is quite hard to get to the great wall on your own otherwise (very long journey) and much easier if you have a driver to take you to and from there as it saves a lot of time, stress and energy. You could be done by 1 pm and have the rest of the time to explore Beijing.

This was one of my best trips! Firstly, our tour operator was always in touch and if any problems arose, everything was resolved in just a couple of seconds! Secondly, our driver who accompanied us to the wall turned out to be a very wonderful person, who also has good English! (and in China you don’t often meet this) Thirdly, this section of the wall was simply magnificent! It was not overcrowded with tourists, we met a couple of people. You can calmly enjoy your company and the beautiful view that accompanies you! Fourthly, they also arranged a tea ceremony for us!!!!!!! It was simply amazing! We are still overwhelmed with emotions. Chinese tea is one of the best phenomena on earth! I give this place, this tour, these leaders 100000/10 with 100% confidence!!!!!!

The organization of the tour was excellent amd everything ran smoothly. John was extremely helpful and he adapted the tour to our needs. Thanks to him, we experienced the best of the most beautiful place.

There were about 30 people on the tour. We lived within the 3rd Ring Road, so instead of meeting at the main hotel, they gave us a different meeting point from the rest of the travelers. We went nonstop to the Great Wall. I got a bottle of water and a piece of bread. One bottle of water is not enough for walking, so I recommend buying another 500ml. It was hard at the end of May because of the strong sunshine and wind on the Wall, but it was very beautiful because the greenery was beautiful and sunny. The walk is steep, so it is a difficult journey for people without physical strength. It's a tour that's only in English, so it's kind of hard not knowing English. After the Great Wall, we had lunch nearby. It was delicious. It's hard to get there on your own, so I recommend going on tour. We walked through it all, but you can pay extra to take the cable car if you wish.

<p>It was my second time to use Viator service, and everything was so great! My Mom, myself and her friends wanted to visit remote and quiet part of the wall this time, so that I chose Jinshanling Great wall tour, and tour operator told us that the Jinshanling Great wall was closed temporarily and it was switched to Simatai section of Great Wall now. I could say that The view was amazing and impressive. This section of Simatai Great Wall got lots of original stones, well the hiking was a little bit hard and challenging, but it was less crowded and we saw only around 60 people at the Great wall during the tour. Our guide, Paul, was great, informative and friendly.Highly recommended!</p>

<p>Great communication in lead up as Jinshanling section of the wall was closed and we changed to Simatai section. Pick up was on time but minibus was extremely small and cramped for the number of people on tour. For what is a lengthy journey 2 hours each way the size of vehicle used and the space between each row of seats was ridiculous. I could not sit normally and had to sit knees up in order to fit in the space available and I am 5ft9. Everyone on the tour was in a similar predicament. <br/> Aside from this the tour itself was fine, great food for lunch and the Great Wall was amazing. Only feedback for this section of the Wall was that there is a chairlift and our guide gave us the option to walk up and chairlift down or vice versa but the chairlift cost is not included. This was at minimal cost so just add it on to the tour cost rather than asking people to pay extra on the day</p>
