We had the most wonderful experience with Emanuela and Maurizio! I originally booked this cooking class for my mom and myself, as we are the cooks in the family. Later, I decided to book it again for my dad and wife so they could enjoy the experience as well. My wife has celiac disease, and I didn’t want to impose on Emanuela by asking her to purchase special gluten-free ingredients, so my wife initially planned to attend without eating. However, Emanuela happened to have several gluten-free ingredients on hand, allowing my wife to enjoy the entire experience, including both cooking and eating! If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, just let Emanuela know far enough in advance so she can accommodate your needs. Emanuela and Maurizio’s beautiful home sits on a hill with a patio overlooking the city and Mount Vesuvius. The view is absolutely breathtaking! Emanuela was a fantastic instructor, and we had such a great time learning the art of making fresh pasta and tiramisu. We prepared two pasta dishes, one featuring ravioli and the other scialatielli, and both were absolutely delicious! I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. It will undoubtedly become one of your favorite memories from your trip, and you’ll leave with the skills to make authentic Italian food at home. In fact, I made the tiramisu and scialatielli as soon as I returned home! Thank you, Emanuela, for such a wonderful and memorable experience. My family will continue to enjoy the delicious food and the memories we made for years to come!

My girlfriend found this amazing experience for us and I would pay double for half the amazing evening that we had. Emanuela was more than kind to us, buying us sweet treats and sharing the history of Napoli with us. The food we made was amazing and we had so much fun laughing with her and her husband! They made us feel like family. I hope to see her again on future adventures!

I’m not typically one to write reviews but this experience was so special it deserves accolade. Our experience was for gluten free pizza and tiramisu cooking and it was the best we have had! Emanuela was a gracious host, patient teacher and one of the loveliest humans I’ve met. Her kindness and knowledge of food, Naples and tradition is unmatched. I will forever be grateful for her and this experience

We had a wonderful experience cooking with Emanuela and Maurice. We started out on their patio where they talked about the history of Naples. We then went into the kitchen and made 3 dishes from scratch. Our entire family (included 2 teenage boys) really enjoyed the experience. It was our favorite activity in Naples.

Emanuela was warm, welcoming and made us welcome immediately, even before we met her! Maurizio picked us up from our hotel and drove us to her beautiful apartment overlooking Naples. Food was delicious and the company was better. Highly recommend.

We are 4 Canadians who wanted an upscale, authentic and out of the ordinary Napolitan cooking class. Oh boy, were we lucky to find this absolutely wonderful class! Emmanuella and her husband Maurizio welcomed us in their amazing home overlooking the bay of Napoli, and we were given the cooking class. We made ravioli and lasagna that we later ate on the terrace, paired with their homemade wine. They are original Napolitanians, generous, passionate about their city, culture and cuisine. Truly amazing experience!!!

One of the highlights of our trip to Naples was the wonderful cooking class that we took with Emanuela. Even before we started cooking she was fantastic. She was able to sort out a private transfer for us for the cooking class, send us updates on where we needed to go and be, provide us with very clear instructions on how to get to her and generally make the whole experience very easy for us. Emanuela brought so much personal touch to our cooking class! We have family from Torre del Greco and it was really nice to feel so connected to our roots through this experience. We chose the menu together (homemade pasta, bruschetta, eggplant parmigiana and dessert) and she was super nice and very helpful throughout the day. At the end she even made us some pasta e patate for us to taste and for her to show us how to make. Emanuela wants her guests to be happy and that is the reason for her being such a good host. The cooking class wasn't like other activities on the site, we didn't feel like tourists visiting Emanuela in her house but she was teaching us her family's recipes from her culture, the culture she loves to share with other people. This was an amazing experience Emanuela was so kind and welcoming. Her home was beautiful and had an amazing view. The cooking class was amazing with delicious food. She also gave us fantastic recommendations for Naples and Ischia! Highly recommend!

This was the magical and authentic experience tourists dream of having in Naples. The hospitality and generosity of having strangers into your home after a beautiful market tour so you can share the making and eating of a meal in spectacular surrounds is idyllic. The food is either fresh from the market or fresh from their garden and I will remember eating hand made pasta I made on their verandah in front of Mt Versuvius for the rest of my life.

This was one of the most unique and best experiences I have had through Viator. Sitting on a balcony eating fresh pasta I had made with an extraordinary view of Mt Versuvius was pure magic. It started with a walk through the market to buy ingredients - the hosts are locals who have lived in Naples for most of their lives, raised their family here, they understand the streets and shops and views in ways that feel special and unique. We left so full of food at the end and had learned so much about authentic cuisine. The herbs and ingredients are either fresh from the market or fresh from their garden, I learned a lot about culture, food and just how to live a better life from this experience.
