We booked this tour that included the guide. Our guide was Oliver Lin and he was a great guide. He took us to the Mutianyu side and I think it was the best choice. As He drove us, he gave us history about the Great Wall and he walked us through the entrance and got us to the entrance of the wall. After that, we had all the time to explore the wall ourselves. Come prepared with questions, he will have all the answers. I definitely recommend this tour and location for your next adventure.

Incredible Southside Hike! Fantastic Photos by Jessica & Great Service by John!My wife and I had a wonderful day hiking the Badaling Southside to the 7th tower! Our driver, John, provided seamless hotel round-trips and kept us hydrated with refreshments. Our guide, Jessica, was amazing—she prepared us perfectly for the hike and took tons of fantastic photos of us on the trail. They made our trip completely stress-free. Highly recommend this team!

I recommend this tour for anyone wanting to view the Great Wall and not have to hassle with crowds or logistics. Yuehan met us at our hotel and spoke excellent English. From pick up to drop off, he was very personable and accommodating. It was nice riding in comfort. The car was clean and it was nice having bottled water and candies for the ride. Once there, Yuehan took care of all of the arrangements and got us on our way. He stayed with us at the first tower and took some nice pictures of my wife and I. The private service was totally worth it. The best way to see the Great Wall.

We had a great time with Linda's service and our driver. He was punctual in picking us up and he let us enjoy our time at the great wall with no rush. We loved having the private car which also allowed us to avoid the heat and crazy long bus lines. Driver's english was also great but regardless we had Linda to explain everything in perfect English also. Overall a worry free and comfortable experience.

Our guide Angie was awesome. Informative, friendly and engaging. Private car was enjoyable way to tour mutianyu Great Wall. The August heat was slightly more bearable in the early morning but it was very hot. Angie was also a great resource for ideas on what else to do during our visit in Beijing. We wrapped up our wall visit early because of the heat, Angie thoughtfully also took us to a tea tasting at a state-run store. Highly recommend.
