The Pantheon is incredible. The lines to get in were very long (even with pre-purchase ticket.) We waited in the center line to enter the building. Then we were told to wait in another line to get audio gear. We decided to skip the audio tour and walked around on our own.
it was a smooth experience. such a wonderful sight and the audio guide was a great learning experience.
Visiting the Vatican and Sistine chapel will be one of the biggest highlights of my trip to Rome because of our guide Chiara Antonelli. I would be completely lost at the museum without her insightful explanations into the spectacular artwork there. Highly recommend a guided tour. Pretty useless without it.
