You’ll learn a lot
Vasi, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and helped us understand a lot about Switzerland. We saw many of the main attractions with much history given for each spot. Sometimes his sarcasm was not necessary.

This tour was fantastic! We covered a lot of the city while learning about the history of Lisbon and its beautiful tiles. Miguel is very knowledgeable and even more personable. We highly reccomend this tour.

Energetic and Entertaining Guide Vasi Kept Us on Track Across Multi Transport Modes
Energetic host Vasi who kept us moving over several modes of transport including funicular, tram, bus, train, cable car, boat - and legs. Yes you need those legs to keep pace with all that is planned. Learnt a lot about Zurich and culture and regulations in Switzerland too. It was a good intro to Zurich and I recommend it.

Best Tour I Have Experienced
Highly recommended introduction to Zurich. Vanessa was an exceptional guide. The tour was excellent value and included a trip on Lake zurich, multiple tram rides and two funiculars.

Not enough city exposure.
Guide was great and informative (Michael). However tour structure itself was mostly outside city as opposed to really getting to see various parts of the old town and other areas. Much of the time was spent traveling on public transportation or walking to get to viewpoint sites (cable car, funicular to university ). If you prefer to do more exploring in the city itself (as a first time visitor) , probably not the right tour for you. Cruise was nice but probably should do on own rather than include on a tour like this.

The tour is called “Zurich Walking Tour With Cruise and Aerial Cable Car.” Not “Spend Six Hours Wandering Exclusively Around the Old Town.” And certainly not “Let’s See How Many Streets We Can Walk Through Before You Get Bored.” The itinerary clearly states that the experience combines walking through Zurich, public transportation, a lake cruise, and an aerial cable car to a viewpoint outside the city centre. In other words, the things you are complaining about are not hidden surprises. They are quite literally the reason the tour exists. You write that “much of the time was spent traveling on public transportation or walking to get to viewpoint sites.” Yes. That is how you get somewhere. The cable car does not, unfortunately, depart from the middle of the Old Town, and we have not yet managed to convince Lake Zurich to relocate itself directly beside the Grossmünster for the convenience of our guests. At some point, this stops being a problem with the tour description and becomes a problem with the person reading it, booking it and then complaining about it. Did you read the tour title and description before booking it, or did you simply see “Zurich” and hope the rest would magically rearrange itself around your personal preferences? At this point, your review genuinely makes us question your reading comprehension and thinking process: how can someone book a tour explicitly advertised as a walking tour with a cruise and aerial cable car, and then complain that it contains walking, a cruise and an aerial cable car?

Nice overview of area for reasonably act.ive people.
Great tour of highlights in the area, informative. Need to be reasonably fit and mobile for walking hills and different modes of transport, but nice experience of all. Scenic.
