We embarked on the river adjacent to the Marriott Cairo hotel where we were staying, so getting to the boat was easy. Optional beer, wine, and spirits are reasonably priced. We chose roasted chicken for our entrees and the food was quite good. The entertainment is delightful. Is it a little cheesy? Yes, as expected. Regardless, it’s a really fun time and a great way to view the city at night.

Nile Maxim + Mostafa = Unforgettable experience
The Nile Maxim cruise is simply incredible. For 2 long hours you feel immersed in Egyptian music and traditions, all wrapped in a luxurious atmosphere with exquisite attention to detail.
A special mention is necessary for the guide who picked us up at the hotel and accompanied us throughout the entire experience; he speaks Spanish much better than many Spaniards and makes the experience reach another level. Close, respectful, and friendly treatment, Mostafa Mabrouk was one of the best parts of the experience on the Nile Maxim.

Fantastic way to cruise the Nile

Romance blown out of the water.
Friendly and helpful staff acted as a counterweight to an overloud music show and cold food. Only about 20 of us for the à la carte so the could have turned the sound down and it should not have been difficult for the kitchen to ensure the food was at least warm.

Tacky entertainment; mediocre food (and I'm easy to please)
OK; cruise on Nile was fine. But the show was so tacky. A singer belted out Elvis Presley songs then "My Way" by Sinatra. He went on too long and it was loud. Food mediocre. Then a LED lit up whirling dervish and finally a good belly dancer. The belly dancer was the only part we enjoyed. Big tables of local people that seemed to enjoy this. We would not do this again.

Dinner and very loud music.
Its ok, but you won't miss out on a whole lot by not going. Food is mediocre, and as lots of reviews said, the music is extremely loud. If I was there again I wouldn't do it
