Very punctual pick up. The tour guides were absolutely amazing. You can tell they love what they do. The trip involves a bit of a hike, but the tour guides always made sure everyone was okay before continuing the hike. Several hour tour - worth every bit.

It is a must-see tour because it allows you to reach incredible places, with unique views. I went with my partner, both of us lovers of photography and nature, and we were truly fascinated. We were fortunate to have Lauro as our guide, a wonderful, attentive, friendly person who generously shared his extensive experience and great knowledge of history with the group. Whether driving his jeep or during the hikes on the trails, he took care of us at all times, gave us advice, and made sure that everyone enjoyed every moment. We shared the tour with three other tourists (from the United States, Canada, and Arabia), and a fantastic group formed with them. Lauro speaks perfect English and Spanish, so we could all understand each other and have a lot of fun. Keep in mind: there is a 30-minute uphill walk (and then downhill) that requires appropriate footwear, either sports shoes or, even better, trekking shoes, so you should also consider that it is a moment of some physical demand. In any case, the guide adjusts the pace according to the needs of the group. Upon reaching the summit, the reward will leave them speechless. Even if it is not a cool day, wear a light jacket since sitting in the jeep while receiving the breeze makes it necessary, just like when exploring the interior of the jungle where the trees block the sun. We did not need to use repellent, but sunscreen is indeed important. There is a waterfall where you can swim, so wear your swimsuit! There are restrooms available along the way, and a café in the midst of nature, with homemade treats and refreshing drinks, ideal for taking a break. It was truly one of the best tours I have ever done!! Thank you, Lauro!!

We had an amazing jeep tour through Floresta da Tijuca. Everything was perfectly organized and very enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide, Roberto, was exceptional—kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. He explained a lot about the forest, nature, and local wildlife, and he took us to areas where he knew animals often appear, which made the tour truly special (saw monkeys, sloth, birds) Our 8‑year‑old son loved every minute and was completely fascinated. The highlight of the tour was definitely Pedra Bonita—the views were stunning, and we had enough time to take photos (Roberto was also our photograph). I highly recommend this tour, especially for families with children above 6. A perfect mix of nature, adventure, and learning!

Our guide Roberto was fantastic! The adventure with him was lots of fun, and he was very engaging and knowledgeable about the spots we visited along the hike. It was a long trek up to the top of Tijuca but it was worth all the effort. The drive back down and along the coast provided for some postcard-style views.

Due to a holiday, the initial hiking path was crowded so we took a different hike, which was longer but well worth the trek to the highest point of Tijuca mountain.

What an unbelievable day! Lauro was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had! He went above and beyond his duties and really showcase the natural wonder of Tijuca National Park! Even though it was a cloudy and rainy day with fog to spoil anyone else’s views, Lauro took us around too many parts that others don’t get a chance to see. We were able to swim and hike and enjoy the splendour of this scenic beauty! Thank you! You helped make a trip to Rio, a trip of a lifetime!

Bring good hiking shoes for the hike(or a hiking sandal) and then you can bring sandals to change into after the swim. The experience starts with being picked up by the jeep, then you pickup any other guests. Following that, you head to the forest and park the jeep to stop at a cafe for bathroom/water and then the trail starts at the cafe. You can store your bags or anything you don't need at the cafe. The trail is long and the vertical height is quite a bit. We saw some monkeys in the distance and heard them as well, otherwise we did not see many animals. Roberto pointed out a lot of trees. At the top there is little shade, but the view is amazing. Roberto was kind enough to take a drone video of us all and provided a Brazil flag to take pictures with. He sent the drone video via WhatsApp, no charge! Then we hiked down, which was much easier. At the bottom, we stopped at the cafe again for bathroom/quick drink. Then we got back into the jeep to go to the waterfall and the area we could swim. The water was clean and fresh and cool. It was very picturesque. There we did see a coati (I think it's called). After that, we drove in the jeep to the Chinese pagoda and then Roberto was nice enough to take the whole crew to some of the best Acaí in town. We got back quite late (3:30 pm), so if you have plans, just keep Roberto or your guide aware to keep things moving.

I had an amazing time on this tour, the guides are so knowledgable, attentive and helpful with pictures and information. I couldn’t recommend them enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The tour gave you a chance to really experience the National Park. There was a hike to an overlook and a swim in a waterfall. Beautiful overlooks all along the way.

Our guide, Gilberto, was absolutely fantastic – extremely knowledgeable, committed and genuinely passionate. We learned not only about the plants of the jungle, but also about Brazil's culture, history and society in a way that made the experience both deeper and more meaningful. The guide responded generously to questions and created a safe and curious atmosphere throughout the tour. This was far more than a regular excursion – it was an experience we will carry with us for a long time.
