Our guide, Luiza was amazing. Friendly, polite, excellent English speaker and very knowledgeable. The weather was misty but nonetheless we really enjoyed our hike in the forest and up to Pedro do Bonita and did get some good views of Rio at times. We saw an interesting variety of birds and a very special view of a sloth with her baby.
Renata was very knowledgeable and friendly. The views from the end of the hike were amazing, but I would have preferred a few more stops along the way to appreciate the forest. The ground, of course, was very uneven and I had to spend the majority of the time looking down so as not to trip. We did stop briefly a few times, but I did feel a little rushed.
We had an excellent guide, Vinicius, for this adventure in an urban rainforest. He was knowledgeable about the history and ecology of the region and he was able to gage the ability of his clients. He took us on a hike that challenged and excited us. We saw monkeys, coati and lots of birds. The views were stunning! Vini was also able to take creative photos of us inside a cave. Jungle Me contacted us about the time of our pick up and they were very efficient. I would definitely recommend this company and this guide!

What an amazing trip! We had such a wonderful day with Luíza, her intern and the driver. She was incredibly enthusiastic and told us so much about the history of Rio. Thanks to her background as a biologist, she also had so much knowledge about the fascinating plants and animals that live here. She really took the time to answer all our questions and spoke excellent English, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They were all so kind. The viewpoints were absolutely breathtaking, and the hike was just the right length. Everything was very well organized, and we felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire day. All in all, it was a fun, interesting, and unforgettable experience that we would definitely recommend! We had an amazing day! 🌿🌴
Our forest guide Gustavo was absolutely wonderful! He had rich knowledge about this forest’s local plants, wildlife and history. He spoke clear English and patiently told us many interesting stories and facts. He was observant and pointed out lots of small animals and beautiful scenery that we would have missed by ourselves. He was friendly, attentive and kept a relaxed pace for our group. He cared about our safety all the time and made our walk in the forest fun and unforgettable. We really enjoyed the tour with him and highly recommend this guide!
We did the "Best of Tijuca Forest" hike with Luiza and Jungle Me, and it was hands-down the best tour of our Rio trip! Luiza was incredibly knowledgeable — she wove in local history and nature facts throughout the hike to the peak and made sure we felt safe while having a blast the whole way. Beautiful views, great pace for a moderate hike, and genuinely warm guiding. Highly recommend Jungle Me if you want an authentic, unforgettable tour of Tijuca Forest!

We had a really nice tour in a very small group. The guide was absolutely professional with a background as a conservationist and forest specialist. He drew our attention to many small details with broad background knowledge. After many city trips and visits to sights, it was a very relaxing Sunday.
