Daniel was such a knowledgeable and fun guide! I learned so much about the history of the rainforest here and felt so comfortable all day. The trail was more adventurous than I expected which was amazing. Loved the caves, the waterfalls, and had a blast even in the rain!
The tour guide was good and it was a good experience, but it was not exactly what was described. It was a pretty strenuous 2+ hour which is not really clear in the description. Also there were two caves that were dark and closed in that were explored. I think it would help if the physical activity were more clear in the description.

Difficulty is subjective and varies from person to person — most guests describe the hike as easy to moderate, but we'll work on making expectations clearer on our page. As for the caves, they are part of the advertised itinerary — the darkness and enclosed atmosphere are all part of what makes them so special!
It was an incredible experience together with our guide Victor, the best guide so far. I have learned many things on this tour and experienced a shower by a waterfall. I strongly recomand this tour.

A great group tour to the Tijuca rainforest, "the lungs of Rio." Waterfalls, riverside trails, and caves. This was a great break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, hotel pickup was prompt, and communication was great.
