It’s not a simple hike but most can do it. Don’t be in a rush. Enjoy the knowledge and experience of your guide. Our guide Eric was amazing! I’m taking one star off because the bus ride up and back to the hotel was too crazy. It was windy and made people sick because they drive too fast. If they would slow down it would help a lot and the patrons could enjoy the views.
We had an amazing day exploring the tijuca rainforest. Eric our guide was very knowledgeable and funny ! There are different hiking options and we picked the middle option which was manageable and still took us to the cave and the waterfall for a swim. We saw different wildlife and Eric told us many stories and explained everything very well. Highly recommend this tour, thanks for having us !
Victor was great. Communication was clear and thorough leading up to the tour. He was a friendly tour guide, as was his driver. He pointed out interesting facts along the tour and was pleasant to spend half a day with. The rainforest itself was magical, and we moved at a great pace, allowing us to make the most of our tour and to see a ton.
We had a great time with Rodrigo! We spotted lots of wildlife, followed easy trails to a cave, and visited several beautiful waterfalls where we could get in the water. A great way to explore nature, highly recommend!
Had an absolutely horrible time with this. They ended up leaving me in the hotel during pick up and after calling them several times they responded hours later with no remorse or apologies. They wanted me to meet them at the spot which would be so far away and I would miss it anyways. TERRIBLE.

The rainforest is beautiful and it’s a nice hike approx 2 hr of hiking not strenuous at all. A cave to explore. The guide is patient and really helpful. Really accomplished, thanks Victor :) Great driver Water issued Time to paddle at the waterfall so take your swimwear. I did this after hang gliding - so I’d recommend this all on the same day :)
There’s a decent hike that involves some Effort but doable for a wide age group. Sam was an a great tour guide, explaining things along the way and allowed us to get the full experience of the rainforest and waterfalls which were amazing. Highly recommend. He also took really cool pictures in the cave.
This was an amazing tour/hike. Eric was the perfect tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. He knew a lot of the history and shared it at appropriate stop points. These breaks allowed the varying levels of hikers adjust to the terrain. He was very intentional in that way. I appreciate that level of thoughtfulness. If you want to walk a little, talk a little, and learn a lot, book with Eric. You won't be disappointed. This may be a 2nd submission. I'm not sure if the first submitted.
Our group had a great experience on the hike, Victor was informative and practical. We spotted quite a few monkeys, birds, and insects. Moderate hike for 2 hours, with short spots of rock scrambling. Bring your waterproof hiking shoes!
I am sorry that I have say I am greatly disappointed. My intension was to see some wildlife showed in the pictures, the tropical birds, etc. We only had a chance to see a monkey over 20 meters away that I even couln't tell its color because it was too far away. The tour was a waste of money.
Thank you for the feedback. We understand the disappointment. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed in the forest — animals are wild, unpredictable and move entirely on their own terms. Our guides do everything possible to spot wildlife, but the forest decides. Some days bring many encounters, others very few — that is the nature of a true rainforest experience.
