Our guide, Teresa was very nice and picked us up on time. The drive to Fatima was pleasant and the van was air conditioned. However, when we got to Fatima we were dropped off at the entrance to the shrine area, told that there’s an old and a new church, mass at 11, an area where the tree was but not the real site of the tree, that there’s no shade and to let her know when we wanted lunch. She gave me her whatsapp number and left. We decided we wanted to go back to Lisbon after about 2 hours of walking around trying to identify what things were. When we loaded back into the van Teresa offered to take us to the shepherd’s houses but we declined based on the quality of the first part of the tour. We paid for a private tour of the essentials of Fatima. When I booked this I envisioned someone showing us around the shrine area and highlighting for us the areas of interest with background information. We anticipated a lot more than just being driven to the site and back. I have booked many tours through Viator and this was the first one that was a disappointment.

Marina responded to each of my inquiries and made adjustments to our schedule to ensure we could stay for the evening procession without compromising any of the day's program. Our guide, Paulo was in contact even the night before, arrived right on time, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout the tour. Filipe was exceptional! He was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible with our needs. He looked for opportunities to bring us to places with beautiful views we were not expecting. And he was persistent with helping us gain access to a number of venues on a very busy day filled with large tours. He made our experience memorable and we will be contacting him again if we decide to return.

We had a great time. Our apologies to our tour guide so much happened since we took the tour at the very end of May that we forgot his name. He was wonderful, showed us more than we expected or even knew before we went. Even though he did most of his tours in Lisbon, he was very knowledgeable about the area. He also waited for us as we tried to do everything we could. Fatima is great. Everyone we spoke to whether in town, the Basilica or shopping or just in general was very warm and inviting. My wife and I highly recommend going to Fatima and recommend you spend more time than just a two hour bus tour gives you. So much so that we want to go back because even though we were there all day, we felt we could have done so much more.

We had a great time with Angela. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour itself was exactly what we had hoped for: private driver to Fatima, where we spent hours exploring the Our Lady of Fatima sanctuary and the surrounding area, followed by a couple more stops of significance on the way back to Lisbon.

My mom and I took a tour with guide Susana to Fatima on June 13 where there was an outdoor service occurring as we arrived. The outdoor service and the time at Fatima will take your breath away and give you tears. My mom who is a devout Catholic loved the personal touches, history, stories, and kindness Susana gave us while we were guided throughout Fatima. We did a personal tour for those personal touches as well as the ability to customize it. Susana understood what we were asking for and gave us a wonderful and special experience. She was very thoughtful and gave us a special keepsake at the end that was very generous. I Could not asked for a better and thoughtful guide that led us through Fatima.
