Today we had the tour to Arrábida and with a wine tasting at Bacalhôa. We booked this tour from our hotel, but it is also available on the Celina Tours website. It was a great experience and we enjoyed the tour immensely. It is a perfect combination of sightseeing and relaxation. As icing on the cake we got to meet the enthusiastic guide Manuel. We have done tours before, but rarely with such a nice guide. You really notice that Manuel has passion for his work and that he likes to share his love for Portugal. With Manuel as your guide you are guaranteed to have a great day! If you are looking for a nice way to spend your day, this is the place to be.

Our guide Carlos was excellent! He demonstrated full Knowledge of the tour and Portugal. He helped us understand everything about Évora. I highly recommend booking a tour with him we enjoyed it very much and would have liked to have booked more tours with him.

There weren't many small group day tours to Evora, and because we indulge in wine-tasting, and wanted a day out of Lisbon city, we chose to book with Celina Tours. The winery visit at Ervideira was absolutely the BEST part of the tour. They were the perfect and charming hosts, presenting their various delectable wines in a beautiful relaxed setting. Totally recommend the winery, if you intend to visit it without going on a tour. Evora town was a mixed bag of medieval, roman and gothic. It was amazing to see a Roman temple ruins still standing at the city centre. Our guide Philip took care of us well, but I felt he wasn't as engaging as I expected for such a tour. He also tried his best to give commentaries in 3 languages, but as the day wore on, I felt it became a little too challenging. Because of this, I probably didn't pay attention to much of the information provided on the tour either. But the wine-tasting segment, and connecting with a lovely couple from Montreal during the day, made the tour still very enjoyable.
