Interesting historical perspectives were given by our personable and knowledgeable guide Sofia both at the Chapel of Bones , the castle and during our comfortable ride. Added bonus was the beautiful winery with some stellar wines. Don’t miss this one.

From reception, with the lovely Thiago and Beatriz, I was already enchanted with the service, and after the tour of Évora with the guide André, they exceeded expectations! 👏🏼 He is great, friendly, kind, with deep knowledge, who conveys with competence and patience, repeating when someone doesn't understand or doesn't hear very well, like in my case, who has hearing impairment. The tour of Évora was much more than a tourist visit; it was a true lesson in history, culture, and knowledge, the kind that makes you want to know even more. And be careful not to lose André to the sommelier area, the guy also knows a lot about wine! 😂🍷 Thanks, André, thank you so much! And I think you should also do the presentation at the Winery, because their employee, in terms of friendliness, is a great example of how not to receive visitors. 😮‍💨😅

We had an Evora tour with Living Tours and our tour guide was Mario. It was an amazing tour that was fun, informative and beautiful. The chapel of bones was a sight to see…macabre but beautiful…Evora is a quaint town and we had a traditional lunch which was tasty!!! The winery was informative and fun…loved trying all they had to offer from whites to reds…then the Montemor castle was beautiful, we learned the history of the castle as well as of Portugal. All in all I would highly recommend this tour to everyone!!!

Sofia our guide was very professional and punctual. She is a Portuguese woman originally from Lisbon and Evora She immersed us in her culture and the history of this region We would have liked to have more time there

Catarina was such a great tour guide! She was very friendly and knowledgeable of Évora and the Castelo de Montemor-o-Novo. She went above and beyond to make sure our group was well taken care of and drove safely throughout the trip. I’d definitely recommend her to friends and family and would have her as a guide to other places in the greater Lisbon area!
