Great way to explore and learn a bit about some of the history of Ljubljana while getting a taste of different Slovenian foods. Portion sizes were ample and food was tasty. The one thing that caused me to not give this a five star rating was that the guide Jasmina was rushing us at the end as she had a personal dinner engagement so left us at the last venue instead of bringing us back to the original meeting point. So a bit unprofessional at the end

This was a long 4 hour food tour, with 5 food stops all with wine pairings ( an unexpected bonus!) Our guide was very knowledgeable, chatty and fun It was not as foodie as some food tours we have done There was - for us- way too much talk about "introduction to Slovenia" as a country, we had been here a week already. This meant we had well over an hour until our second food stop. But then it picked up!!

We had never left a food tour hungry until today. The five stops featured small bites, and the main course was fried chicken. We had wine at every stop, so it is not ideal if you are not a wine drinker; also, at two stops, there were not enough chairs or place settings. Our guide commented a lot on how large our group of ten was. She was nice, friendly, and knowledgeable; however, I did not hear everything she had to share as we walked and crossed streets. Finally, as the tour came to a close, she went to a restaurant, pointed out food we should try, and described each dish. (And isn't that the point of a food tour, to try food not from home, like fried chicken?) Odd ending indeed.

We have been on many food tours in the past, however this one was far superior. The portion sizes were fantastic And our guide, Anna was very knowledgeable, entertaining and thorough

This was just the best food tour. We loved every moment of it and our tour guide Palona was just fantastic. I have been to Ljubljana before, but I learn so much about the city, the country's food and customs.

We have done a lot of food tours and this was one of the best. The food choices were great and the guide spent a lot of time on history and culture. We would highly recommend this tour! One note for the future - we do recommend that the tour guide not make any political comments as you do not know your audience or their personal beliefs or affiliations.

Wonderful culinary experience with lots of history mixed in. The tour was excellent and a great introduction to the city. Excellent first stop for us. Highly recommended!!

Palamo was an amazing guide. Not only did she have knowledge about the cuisine we learned so much about the history of the area. Must do activity in Ljubljana

The tour began with a 30 minute “tour” around old town which was repetitious for me as I had already seen the sights that were highlighted. However, others had just arrived that day so maybe they appreciated it. We then walked our way around to five stops, all of which included plentiful food and a glass of wine. The food was good and the guide provided some background and history information. The guide was a substitute for the normal guide who was sick. We were seated at all but one location where several stood around a tall table. There was a good variety of food and type of restaurants. It was worth the price as I tried food and restaurants I may not have tried on my own.
