We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Laurence at Wailea Photo for our family photo shoot in Kihei! He was very accommodating with our preferred location and brought fantastic, upbeat energy the day of, which made everyone feel completely at ease. He was also exceptionally easy to stay in contact with leading up to the session. The photos were meant to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, capturing our whole family at sunset, and the results were stunning. To top it all off, he had the entire completed album ready and sent to us within just a few hours of the shoot ending! Incredible service from start to finish - I couldn't recommend them more!

My husband and I had two photo sessions and love our pictures. Laurence and Jude were very friendly and fun to work with. They really take their time and make sure they get the poses just right! We'll be sure to get more pictures the next time we visit Maui. We got all our pictures, even the unintended captured moments, plus a few bonus pics. The photos and quality are amazing and they really pour their heart into their work. Tom and I thank you both so much!

Lawrence is an expert photographer. He made us totally comfortable during the photoshoot session. The photos turns out amazing. We truly enjoyed our session and we will definitely book him again when we are back in Maui. I really cannot emphasize how awesome he is!!!! Please also ask Marianna for makeup because she does a great job as well.

Having our family photos at the beach with Laurence was an awesome experience. I am so impressed by how much he was able to capture in 20 minutes, and he emailed us our gallery later that day. Incredibly quick service! He was also wonderful to work with - super friendly, professional, and warm. A mini-session with Wailea Photo was well worth it, capturing family memories we will always treasure.

My wife and I decided to plan our trip to celebrate her birthday in Maui, and we wanted to capture the special moment with a photographer. Throughout the process, they were always quick to respond and upfront about what to expect for the session. What we loved were the pointers they gave us about how to prepare for the day of the photoshoot, including having the option to have leis and flower crowns available upon request. On the day of the photoshoot, we appreciated how they pushed back the photoshoot to allow for the wind to settle for a better photoshoot. As a result, we were able to have even more gorgeous photos closer to sunset. The photoshoot itself was fun, quick, and professional, as he provided easy detailed instructions about how and where to stand for the best photos in terms of lighting, and our posing. Lastly, they were very quick to provide us with the photographs with photos that looked so amazing with the natural lighting of the sunset that they did not even need editing. All in all, we cannot provide higher praise for these photographs, which are a steal for the price, as we now have lifelong photos we will cherish a lifetime.

Amazing photographers, wife/husband team. Very communicative with their directions on where to park and where to meet for the photo shoot. Super helpful with suggestion poses and different pictures between fun and "picture perfect", family shots, individuals, couple poses, etc. They had the pictures emailed to us within a day or 2 post the shoot. They were very nice and helpful and suggested places to go and visit for the rest of our vacation. Would absolutely recommend!

Wailea Photo & Portrait was fantastic to work with! Great communication when it came to the weather to my senior’s photos and accommodating when we needed it! I highly recommend them and if we need pictures again while visiting Maui we will definitely use them again!

We had an amazing session with Laurence! The images are absolutely fantastic. He captured many creative angles and poses, the hour went by so fast. Laurence obviously loves what he does, and it shows. Even my teenagers said (unprompted) "That was fun!" As a photo geek, I enjoyed talking cameras and tips with Laurence, and I learned a lot! He was patient with my amateur questions, so much fun! This was our third photo session on Maui in the last 10 years, our first with Laurence, but it won't be our last. There's simply no comparison.

We had an incredible experience with Laurence at Wailea Photo during our family trip to Maui! He took vacation family photos, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The location he picked was absolutely stunning. The blue water and white sand beach looked so perfect it almost didn't seem real. It was also right near the beginning of the Road to Hana, which made it really easy to fit the photo session into our plans before starting the drive. Laurence was friendly, patient, and great to work with. He made sure to get plenty of shots of everyone and took his time to make sure he captured the best moments. Even with three kids, he kept the session relaxed and fun. We were also impressed by how quickly he got the photos back to us. We received the edited gallery before we even left Maui! If you're looking for a photographer in Maui, I can't recommend Laurence enough. We're so glad we chose him, and we'll cherish these photos for years to come!
