We loved this! We went with another couple. Two of us had never snorkeled and the other couple had tried without much success once many years ago. I am not a strong swimmer at all and was VERY nervous getting in the deep ocean water. James was terrific. He was just so nice. He got us all geared up, made sure fins, masks, life jackets all fit, and once in the water he showed us what we need to know. It was just wonderful. We saw at least 6+ huge sea turtles (some may have been the same one passing by more than once, but we didn’t know the difference LOL). We saw many sea creatures, beautiful fish, James brought some creatures up for us to hold, and even pointed out an eel. He took wonderful photos of us from under water and we got them from him from air drop immediately after the tour. I cannot say enough good things about this. I was so nervous, but it ranks up there as one of my very favorite things I have ever done! You do not need to know how to swim, as the life vest keeps you floating, but you need to be comfortable and relaxed in the water. The more relaxed I got, the easier it was. I was tired afterwards, though not really sure why as I didn’t feel like I was working hard. 10/10 recommend this experience and James as your guide. Loved it so much - all four of us did!!

This is perfect for beginners in snorkeling, especially those who are not strong swimmers or a little nervous in the ocean. Our instructor was James and he was so great from start to finish. He taught us all the basics of snorkeling and took us on his paddle board, where we saw so many different types of fish, coral reefs, and even two sea turtles. It was truly a wonderful and magical experience and I’m so glad we did it. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you are new to snorkeling! You will not regret doing this.

What an experience! My husband and I went for guided non-swimmers experience and we had the best time. When I say I don’t know how to swim I mean I don’t know even basics but I was able to part of the whole experience and that says a lot about Seth and James who guided us and everyone in the group. They were patient, kind and super funny! Given this was the first water experience, it was insanely amazing! Thank you both for making this probably the best memory of the trip!

Amazing experience. This was the first time experience for me, my wife and our 8 year old. Wife and I had limited swimming experience so we were nervous at the beginning. Seth did a great job with the instructions and made us feel really comfortable. We saw lots of marine life including sea turtles. It was definitely a memorable experience and would definitely recommend it for anyone with limited or no snorkeling experience.

We booked the “snorkeling for non‑swimmers” experience for our family of four. My wife and I can swim, but our kids (ages 5 and 7) had never snorkeled or been in the ocean before, so this felt like the right fit and was recommended when we called ahead. Our instructors, Sarah and Jasmine, were fantastic. Jasmine in particular spent nearly the entire session working with our daughter, who was so nervous at first she didn’t want to get off the large paddle board they used to take us out. With patient, thoughtful coaching, Jasmine had her in the water and snorkeling on her own within an hour. We saw sea turtles, moray eels, and so many colorful fish, it was incredible, and our kids were asking to go again the next day. Even our 5‑year‑old picked it up quickly and, with a life vest, was exploring on his own. Highly recommended.

A great introductory small group snorkeling experience. We wanted a guided trip for our 11 year old grandson and wanted to ensure there were professional eyes on him in the water. There were 6 of us in the group and 2 guides which worked out beautifully. The instructors gave a great overview of the snorkel equipment and we walked into the water using a large paddleboard we could sit on till we got to the snorkel spot. Downside was a large boat with 100 snorkelers - was right near our destination, but our instructors were able to keep some separation. We did experience a pretty heavy swell off Makena Beach, but that's nature! Our grandson was able to follow a sea turtle and snorkeled all the way back in to the beach. Instructors made us feel secure that he was being watched.

Seth was AMAZING! He was so good with our 8 year old who had never been snorkeling. Little did we know he would take to it like a fish. We saw so many cool fish and several sea turtles. Seth and our son chopped it about sea life and he made the whole experience fun and educational. We will definitely be back and recommend this experience to any family with a child who has never done anything like this before.

We had a wonderful experience with Sara and James! During our original 9:30 AM snorkeling tour, the winds picked up and the water became rough. Safety was clearly their top priority, so they made the decision to turn back early. We were really impressed by how calm, professional, and reassuring both instructors remained despite the challenging conditions, and they got everyone back safely. What truly stood out was that they didn’t stop there—they went above and beyond by offering to rebook us on another tour at no additional cost. Our second snorkeling trip at 7:30 AM was absolutely incredible. The water was calm, and we swam alongside several sea turtles, including a mother and baby pair! It was an unforgettable experience. James was an exceptional instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging throughout the tour. Sara was equally fantastic, making everyone feel safe and welcome from start to finish. This was a true five-star experience, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui!

James was a great guide for folks who aren’t the best swimmers . He kept us calm , ensured us we were safe and reminded us the appreciation of the ocean . Definitely would recommend to go snorkeling with this company

Our snorkeling tour was supposed to be on June 30 however due to current condition it was decided that it wasn't safe to go into the open waters. We had to rescheduled and MySplash quickly accomindated us and rescheduled our snorkeling tour to July 3rd. MySplash was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The crew Seth, James and Sarah were friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the entire experience feel safe, relaxed, and fun. They explained everything clearly, checked everyone’s gear, and made sure even first‑timers felt confident before getting in the water. Once we were out at the snorkeling spot, the views were breathtaking. Crystal‑clear water, vibrant coral, and an amazing variety of fish everywhere you looked. I even spotted a few sea turtles gliding by, which was a definite highlight. The guides were great at pointing out different marine life and sharing interesting facts without ever making the tour feel rushed. Overall, this was one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Maui and want a memorable, safe, and stunning adventure on the water, MySplash is an excellent choice.
