Absolutely brilliant Our guide was fantastic

Booked this tour because of the great reviews and it was true to word. Our tour guide was just lovely and wholesome. The tour had a great balace of history of Valletta and little personal from our Guide which was very nice. It's true - do what people say do not have breakfast. You will have a nice full tummy by the end. From bakery to coffee shop, cafes and a sit down meal the 3 hours flew past. If you like your food and are interested in the history of there dishes this one is a great option.

Marissa was superb and gave us an insight into Malta and its cuisine in a way that we could not have gained from a book or the internet. We got to sample some great food, Maltese coffee, and desserts and meet some great people along the way.

Marissa did a wonderful job showing our group around Valletta. I especially enjoyed seeing photos and hearing about her childhood here in Valletta. Highly reccommend!

I booked this original walking tour in the capital, Valletta. I'm a Maltese citizen who has left the island nearly 20 years ago and settled abroad. I return every year to visit my family & friends. I liked the idea of this tour when I discovered it as it's something out of the ordinary. We were met by our guide Marisa Grima who was very professional and instructive. We visited interesting spots in Valletta like the entrance to Valletta, the Triton Fountain, Merchant street, the old theatre site & St.John's co-Cathedral. Our guide Marisa, gave us interesting information about the places visited that even I as a Maltese citizen didn't know so I learned a few things too. At the same time we stopped at designated cafés & restaurants to taste Malta's finest delicacies like the imqaret (warm date cakes), the typical Maltese pastizzi, the ftira, the delicious Maltese ravioli and the rabbit cooked in a typical Maltese recipe. We could also sample the unique Maltese fizzy drink Kinnie & the Lager. It was a great sightseeing experience coupled with many delicious tastings. I must also say that our guide was really patient. Half of the group was late, people calling and texting her to try to find us and she answered them until finally she had all the people who had booked the tour. Very unprofessional on their side but she was very careful to be able to get everyone on board. I totally recommend this tour and to appreciate this tour you need a guide like we had. Highly recommended, our guide Johnny was fantastic & has a wealth of Maltese historical & food knowledge. We had 4 food stops, so don’t eat breakfast beforehand.Take a hat & wear comfy shoes.Brilliant!
