Julia gave the best city walking tour I have ever had. Her enthusiasm for the subject and her love of her city really came through. Her deep understanding of art and history brought the city to life for my daughter and me. And she really knows how to tell a story, whether amusing or poignant, she nailed the landings with the grace of the best Hollywood scriptwriters. Relatedly, it took us only a few minutes to independently figure out of whom she reminded us…indeed she is the Maltese Julia Roberts!! Really an exceptional tour guide! Made our trip!

This tour was a very good overview of the storied history of Malta and Valetta. Unfortunately it was over 90 F and for some reason the heat and sun hit me hard and I had to tap out about 2 hours into the 3 hour tour. The guide was excellent. There is very little climbing/stairs, essentially a nice flat walk.

You need Julia as your guide Her historical knowledge combined with contemporary changes in Malta made the walk both interesting and informative

Really enjoyed this tour, we had arrived the previous day and wanted to Know more about Malta. Julia was very knowledgeable and super engaging - we learnt so much about the history but in a full way. She also kept us out of the sun on a hot day which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this tour.

Douglas was a phenomenal tour guide. He gave a very clear overview, and he explained each step in the tour so we were all very clear on what we would see, where we would go, etc. He was very informative and knowledgeable. We had plenty of questions for him which he answered with ease. He gave a brief break for water / drinks / restroom which was helpful as it was a hot day. He was entertaining and gave great history of Malta which was my favorite aspect. I highly recommend this tour!

The staff was very helpful, and Giulia is energetic, funny, and all-around a great guide.

This is a must do tour! Our guide was very knowledgable and we left understanding so much more about the history of Malta and Valletta. We were also grateful for our guide finding the shady spots whilst on the tour so we didn’t melt!

This walking tour was incredible. Douglas was an excellent guide and was able to answer every question that came up while also being very engaging. I was ended up being late to the tour but the team did a great job of making sure I found the group.

It is a very detailed historical experience and in the hot summer months be prepared for the heat. The tour Guide did an outstanding job of teaching us the history of Alleta and Malta and was absolutely fabulous.
