We used this as our mode of transport rather than tour. But this was excellent choice. Rome is bif to explore so hop on and off for full day is great . We got some food and drinks and sat on the top and got great views while travelling to each place we wanted to visit . Not sure why people are complaining I thought this waa great value for money sightseeing while traveling rather than being on the underground. We've done Hop On tours in many cities. THIS WAS THE WORST ever. Got tickets from Viator. Wanted to look up where to start tour. Two maps on City Signtseeing's on map don't match (pdf vs interactive). Made our way to stop shown on their interactive map. Waited 35 minutes. Stood very visibly and half-empty bus thundered right past us. Then were told we would have to make our way half way across Rome to start tour (about 1 hour walk or 40 Euro taxi fare). Pathetic! The whole idea of a Hop on bus is that you do NOT HAVE TO WALK. We just went home and now booking with a different provider. Avoid this provider at all cost.

This trip advised could get on at any point but it didn't stop anywhere. Could only get on at roma termini. Nice seeing everything lit up. Only lasted 1 hrs not 1.5 hrs.

It was the usual 'Hop On Hop Off' experience, nothing different to any other. Pleased the audio equipment worked.

Very poor guidance on and off the bus. Employees of City Sightseeing Rome were only interested in selling tickets. As I already had tickets they were unwilling and of no help at all. There was also a big language barrier, very little English, or Italian. Will use other local tour operators in future. Very disappointing,

Don’t waste your money! Key stops closed, buses told every 10 mins but we waited nearly an hour twice, bus stops have no shade or seating. Audio was terrible and content was awful. Paid and waited for yellow route bus and never came was told by operator don’t wait it not coming. ABSOLUTELY better off paying an uber or taxi

Extremely long stops at the bus stops. Explanations are poor. Poor sound quality, little explanation in poor translation. Annoying music in between. Stops are hard to find.

Get on and off whenever you want at one of the route stops throughout the day, the audio guide explaining the monuments and buildings you encounter is nice

After getting off the B line we had to wait in the blazing sun, no shade if you wanted to keep your place in line. Too hot. We decided to skip it
