Booked a tour guide for coliseum but a couple days before the tour, they notified us guides arent allowed and would provide a 20% refund. Its been 5 days and refund has not been received
While the meetup point was a little confusing to get to (turns out it’s right beside the colosseum) our guide more than made up for it. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and it made the experience so much better having someone to walk us through what we were seeing as well as offer fun facts and additional information. I loved the tour and learned so much.
Rude tour guide! Illegible tour guide! Tour for colosseum was cancelled days before with assurance we would still have the same experience. It by no means was. Cancel notice indicated that tour guides weren’t permitted anymore but there were guides all over the place
There is a lot of walking on cobblestone and hills. Wonderful tour. Very informative. Prepare for the extreme crowds.

Great experience on Palitine hill & through the forum. But guide did not take us through Coliseum. We were very disappointed to hear that.

First off, I think the title of the tour is misleading. This does not include a guided tour of the coliseum just the entrance ticket. Which was too bad because the Coliseum was the part I was very excited about. This only include and audio tour when you download the free Coliseum app, which they didn’t even tell me, I had to google it when it got to the Coliseum and since I didn’t know about it in advance didn’t bring my AirPods so didn’t do the Coliseum with the audio tour. Also, they message us a couple of days before that the tour was moved from 10:00am to 9:30am to arrive earlier. We did and the tour started past 10:00 am. Which was completely unnecessary coming too early. Overall, would not recommend this tour.

We where sold a tour of the coliseum , with the add on of palatine hill … instead we spent our time in palatine hill and where dropped off at the coliseum and left to our own devices !!
