Pretty disappointed in this trip. We arrived half an hour early as advised only to be sorted into their queues, wait over an hour before even getting on a bus. Then when we arrived to Florence, we were told we'd have 2.5 hours before leaving to Pisa. While this was an hour less than we were told on booking, it also meant that we'd be late back to the ship after Pisa. We told our guide our concerns and they told us the last shuttle to the ship would be at 6:30, but our all aboard time was 6. Therefore, we decided to abandon the trip and go back via the train so we would make it back to the boat on time. If there weren't such a long wait at the start, we probably would've been able to get back with plenty of time. I personally would recommend just getting the train to Florence and Pisa, it would be cheaper and more time effective.

This was a great experience for our family and included our children: 9yo, 6yo and 3yo. We enjoyed being able to walk around on our own after arrival with a clear meet poi nt and very convenient transfers.

Very, very inconsistent, departure 30 minutes late (which altered the subsequent visits), the guide, Martina, needs to learn Spanish quite a bit, also not especially friendly, bus seating situation chaotic, anyway maybe better to try with another company.

Tour overall was good, however we had tickets for 830 AM got there at 8:20 AM. The motor coach had left already. We got on the 930 AM which actually departed at 9:45 AM. So a bit of annoying in the beginning but overall it was a really good tour. We went to Florence first, then Pisa, return to our cruise ship right on time.

This is a good overview tour that handles the transfer and a little information. It was perfect for Pisa, which is much more compressed, so there was sufficient time to take in the main site. Florence is more spread out and it was hard to know how to use the time. We also had a long, hot wait for the bus to show up in Florence.

The tour was very fun and Alessandro was very funny Alex helped get everyone back and Andrea made it a smooth bus ride !! He walked us through Florence for the main spots and showed us the best spots for gelato I would recommend you to visit the gelato shop in pisa next to the leaning tower and ask for a limonite i 100% recommend it.

This was a great tour for your one day in port. Alessandro was a fantastic guide. He gave great recommendations for Gelato and a place to eat. Highly recommend this tour.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Value Transfer + Outstanding Guide – Highly Recommend! We booked the Livorno Florence and Pisa Low Cost Transfer through Viator for Wednesday, May 20 at 9:30am and it was one of the smartest decisions we made on our cruise. We saved a ton compared to the cruise ship price, and everything ran smoothly! After getting off the ship in Livorno, we grabbed a quick cab ride straight to the meeting point at Piazza del Municipio. The cab drivers are laid-back but very helpful once you approach them — ours was clean, friendly, and happily took a credit card. At the square we easily spotted the guy in the green shirt, scanned our QR code, and were quickly directed to the bus. The ride to Florence was comfortable and took just over an hour on a beautiful sunny day. Our guide Mattia was fantastic — extremely knowledgeable, speaks 4 languages fluently, and really set us up for success. He provided maps, great suggestions, and even offered a walking tour for only €5 extra. We had about 3.5 hours in Florence, which was the perfect amount of time to walk across the whole city center and see everything (Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, etc.). Pro tip: Don’t bother with cabs or Ubers in Florence — the streets are narrow and packed, walking is faster and way more fun. From Florence we went to Pisa for a quick 1-hour stop — just enough time to fight the crowds for the classic tower photos, grab a beer, use the restroom, and head out. The best surprise? On the way back, they dropped us all the way at the cruise ship port instead of the city center — saving us another €25 cab ride! This was a fantastic, stress-free, money-saving excursion. Mattia made it even better. If you’re docking in Livorno, book the Livorno Florence and Pisa Low Cost Transfer and ask for Mattia specifically — you won’t regret it! Highly recommended! 🚍🇮🇹
