You don't get a once-in-a-lifetime trip more than, well, once in a lifetime. This tour was on perfectly calm seas, there was a red-footed booby which has only ever been spotted once before in Canada, a sea otter, a distant pod of Orca (rare because they are so protected that tours are required to stay away from them) and, finally, hundreds, no exageration, hundreds of humpback whales feeding on a massive concentration of krill that only occurs for perhaps a week, at most two, a year. The crew were excited, that's how incredible this was... so... cannot promise you that but I can promise you a great boat, a friendly, informed and engaged crew and a day out on the ocean in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, coastal British Columbia.

It was an eco-friendly tour that gave us plenty of time to enjoy observing the wildlife. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting and informative insights throughout the tour. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely love to join again!

I had an amazing time! The crew members: Nat, Derek, Liam and Capt. Rod were really nice and friendly they explained us all about the Orcas, whales and sea lions. I will definitely book a tour with them again in the future!

We had a fun and fantastic time with our guide Liam and Captain Eric on the 60' Scarab boat tour. They were professional and enthusiastic about getting us out to see whales - humpbacks in this case -, Stellar's Sea Lions and other wildlife. They took time to explain the features, biology and ecology of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island. From our first check in with staff at Fisherman's Wharf we got first class treatment. Would easily recommend Eagle Wing Tours and Liam and Eric in particular. Thank you for great memories!

What a great trip out from Victoria - we saw orca, humpbacks, seals & sea lions - expertly guided and piloted! The guides shared their knowledge in an accessible way so we knew exactly what we were looking at, where the whales had come from, why they were there - very knowledgeable but without being overwhelmed by science. We had a rainy day but it didn’t matter at all - we still saw so much!

What a wonderful experience, highly recommend! It was a very cold & rainy morning but it didn’t spoil the experience! Saw lots of whales, seal lions and various birds! Sam, Natalie and the crew were all very informative & knowledgeable.

What an amazing experience! We have travelled over for our honeymoon from the UK and this was our first excursion of the trip. It was really incredible, we managed to see orcas, humpback whales, sea otters, sea lions, bald eagles and turkey vultures! Thank you to Captain Rod, Jo and Caio for taking us on such an adventure, we will never forget it.

An amazing day that will not be forgotten. So many whales, seals and birdlife. Sam was an enthusiastic guide and passionate about his field. He was great! It was cold; however, we were dressed appropriately. Please dress warm. It was raining when we arrived and a covered area to wait the recommended time would have been appreciated. It was clear we were not to wait under the covered area. This could have been handled with more kindness. I would have appreciated a mic on board. It was very difficult to hear the guide, and his jokes. As a person with a mild hearing loss, an appropriately volumed microphone would have been appreciated. As you can imagine, there is a lot of background noise on the boat.
