Great way to get a feel for one of the oldest parts of Lisbon. Our guide did a great job not just pointing out some notable sites, but also giving a helpful and informative overview of the history of Lisbon, and of Portugal. We also stopped at some lovely overlook points. We didn't really end up where the description suggested we would, so keep that in mind if you're planning to meet up with someone afterwards. The guides work for tips, so bring some cash. We're glad we did it!
We learned so much from our guide that we would have missed out on otherwise. He made our tour really fun!
Jaimy was a fantastic guide, he was knowledgeable personable understood both the history and the current culture of Alfama. I would recommend the tour for anybody.

This tour takes you into some of the best, lesser-known areas that most tourists never get to see and that are difficult to reach any other way. I was there during Saints Weekend and especially enjoyed seeing how the locals celebrated. It was a unique and authentic experience that gave me a much deeper appreciation of the area and its culture.

Good morning, we took the Alfama tour with Quique, I encourage you to participate in the experience, enthusiastic, with a sense of humor and deep knowledge of the neighborhood. He put all his effort into ensuring that we did not focus only on the "stones" but appreciated the neighborhood in all its essence, its alleys, its slopes, its customs, and especially the people who inhabit it.
