Valeria was a great guide. She was pleasant, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable in the history of Lisbon. We would recommend this tour for those who are interested to learn about Lisbon's main landmarks and it's history.

Good tour Natalia our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Note, there are a lot of stairs and uphill downhill walks. If this is a problem do not sign on for this tour

We paid a small amount to book the tour, however when we got there we were told the tour was free. We were then it informed to please tip the guide because she would have to pay her boss for the number of people on the tour.

On the Discover Lisbon website, the title is only "secrets of the old town". The website does not mention that this is a tour of Alfama. My friend and I booked both the Alfama and the Old Town tour, so we were disappointed to show up for our second tour and realize it was the same as the first. Please clarify this on the website!!!

This walking tour through Alfama was a nice way to learn the landscape. Luigi was our tour guide. He was pleasant and knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon. The walk is about 2 hours. It took us through the narrow and hidden streets, up a winding hill. The views are incredible! You also take a small break at the top of the hill where you can grab an espresso and pastel. There is also a bathroom available at the cafe. You get to see the local landmarks like the castle, the smallest bookstore in the world, and the oldest standing house in Lisbon.

The guide Natalia was amazing! Such a great personality and very very well informed. She was able to relate the locations to many cultural and historical events that formed the story of Alfama and its relation to Lisbon.

Natalya was a great guide and showed us some of her fav spots that would not have been obvious as a tourist. It was very interesting to hear about the legends of Lisbon
