Walking across the Bridge of Sighs made the experience even more memorable. St Mark’s Basilica was simply spectacular. The stunning mosaics, intricate details, and incredible history were something you really have to see in person to appreciate. Fantastic tour! Our guide, Romy, was fantastic - incredibly knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining! And touring the Doge’s Palace late in the day with very few people and St Mark’s after hours was amazing. Glorious architecture, art and history and Romy made everything come alive!
Lara did the first portion of our tour in Doges palace (had a separate guide for St Marks) and did an excellent job keeping our kids engaged. Without her I am not sure we would have gotten very far into the museum!
Nico did an excellent job showing us around the basilica and keeping our tired kids engaged. After hours timing was nice, with only a handful of other people around.
