Really interesting information provided by a wonderful bilingual guide as we cruised the Garonne, enjoying the sights of this gorgeous city from a different angle. Well worth the reasonable fee. Included with the ticket: a canelé as we boarded and a glass of wine halfway through (everything in Bordeaux comes with wine!).

A great thing to do. Our guide was lovely. Very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We got a lovely glass of wine on board too. Well worth the money. A very relaxed way to start your day.

Pleasant culinary surprise, this lunch on board. While we expected a lot from the Bordeaux sites seen from the river (we were not disappointed), we enjoyed an excellent meal, beyond our expectations; tasty dishes, well presented and impeccable service in a cozy atmosphere and excellent comfort. Very good mention to the server who also had good sommelier knowledge.

A beautiful ride, but a big disappointment regarding the brunch We had received this brunch cruise as a gift for my husband's birthday and we were delighted to share this moment as a group of four. The departure from Angoulême went very well: parking easy to find, pleasant welcome, and magnificent setting with perfect weather. The walk along the docks was really nice. It is a shame, however, that there was no explanation or commentary during the cruise to introduce us to the places we were discovering. On the other hand, the big negative point concerns the brunch. On the first trip to the buffet, we found several things very good: cucumber salads, pearl couscous, tomato-mozzarella, deviled eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, bread, pancakes, pastries, tart, fruit salad… Everything seemed rather decent. But when we wanted to go back for more, the buffet was almost empty. No more pastries, very little cheese, only a few pancakes put out while a dozen people were already waiting in line. We had the impression that the buffet was absolutely not sized for the number of people present on board. For a service advertised at $55 per person, we really expected a much more generous brunch and, above all, to be able to serve ourselves normally. We also felt that several brunch staples were missing: scrambled eggs, bacon, lard, dairy products, etc. Another point that disappointed us: the lasagna had an odor that seemed strange to us and a taste that stung in the mouth. We therefore preferred not to eat them. In the end, the trip and the setting were very pleasant, but we unfortunately left disappointed and with the feeling of not having had a brunch that lived up to the price paid. At $55 per person, we expected a much more complete service and, above all, not to have to rush to serve ourselves for fear that there would be nothing left. It is really a shame, because the concept is very nice and the setting is magnificent, but the catering part is clearly something that needs to be reviewed for us.

They had to change my boat to an hour later, but the excursion was no longer being conducted in Spanish. I mention it to them and they refund my money on the spot. Thank you.

The boat never showed up. We were at the correct meeting place 30 minutes before and waited until 20 minutes after the scheduled meeting place. Fortunately there was another guided cruise leaving an hour later and that company allowed us to take their cruise. It wasn't UNESCO. I tried contacting UNESCO twice thar day before giving up, but still have not heard from them. The cruise we ended up taking wasn't super great but it was nice to get to be on a river cruise and see the sites from that perspective.

We booked this as a tour with a guide, in English. It was in fact a tour in French and English, and to us it appeared the French explanations were longer. Also it was hard to know when the guide was changing over to English because I zoned out so much during the lengthy French commentary. Unfortunately it became boring for us. As an aside, I am not sure why UNESCO is in the description. There was no real focus on this that I picked up. The guide was good and spoke excellent English. It would have been a better tour for us if the English commentary didn’t seem like an add on. Otherwise, boat and crew good.
