Well paced, enjoyable day exploring the north side of the island. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had an impressive range of languages (moving between Portuguese, English and German seamlessly throughout our trip to keep everyone included). Off roading in the jeep was fun and exhilarating but always felt very safe!

Excellent trip unlike a lot of jeep trips we were 1 jeep. Leonardo was extremely knowledgeable about everything, and was entertaining with silly jokes. The trip took us to the top of pico do areeiro where we given time to wander. The Levada walk was well organised and although unaccompanied Leonardo made sure we didn't get lost. Lunch in Santana was not included which gave us a choice of where and what to eat with Leonardo giving advice. The off road bit was good fun. Would recommend mountain expeditions

Our second tour with the same company, also did the West off-road tour the day before. Both quite different and equally enjoyable, thanks again. The drivers are excellent drivers and very knowledgeable locals, really recommend the old road version for the best experience.

We had a wonderful Jeep Tour with Antonio, who was a great guide and driver. We enjoyed the beautiful nature and learned a lot about Madeira. The Levada walk was really nice, especially the little Madeira birds at the viewpoint. Also the visit to the rum distillery was quite interesting. All in all, it was a great experience. The guide was very friendly and charismatic. We stopped at various viewpoints and a the off-road part was fun. Great experience, would recommend.

Dear Antonio showed us the east side of the island today. He knew a lot about the special places and we were able to bring our own suggestions. He was also an excellent driver and especially mastered the off-road tracks superbly. We'll be back!

Dino was amazing, entertaining and informative. He took a lot of trouble to show us so many points of interest and plants and fruits typical of the island. The drive was very exciting - not for the faint-hearted, but Dino knows every inch of the route like the back of his hand! We were shrouded in the clouds at the highest peak, but despite this, there were other breathtaking views and the whole day trip was really worth it.

This was one of the best excursions I've done anywhere ever! We were lucky with the weather as it was clear with good visibility across the mountains and sunny all day, bit it was such a superb experience it would have been great without it! First of all the vehicle (Land Rover Defender) was in good shape and performed brilliantly. It was open top and enabled all round views and an exciting off-road experience! More importantly, the guide EDDIE was an absolute rockstar and an excellent host. Deeply knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, locations and history, he was also a total badaxe behind the wheel and provided enough entertainment to keep us thoroughly engaged for the duration of the trip. Eight hours door to door including levada walk (easy and unaccompanied), breaks and lunch, the time just flew by and I feel like we really got to know the island. By far the best thing we've done on holiday on Madeira, I unreservedly recommend this trip.
