We did not get to use this purchase because of the extreme heat in London. The bus broke down because it overheated after we got on it at the second stop. The driver first refused to let us all the board however, as soon as the door opened, everyone jumped off. The London eye has been closed and we are flying out of London in the morning and lost a good chunk of money.

Loved the London Eye. Line moved quickly, staff was friendly and helpful, it is easy to enter and exit. Bus staff were informative. At times, the bus had to change the scheduled route, so pay attention and use the ear buds to listen.

Enjoyed all 3 of the activities- Big Bus, London Eye, river cruise. Everyone involved was exceptionally courteous; I use a cane and all were very accommodating.

Bus schedule was not frequent enough. Stopped at on stop for over one half hour. Buses were too full to get a seat. Poor ventilation on the bottom deck

Will not be booking with Big Bus for tours ever again, will definitely choose another operator. We chose to pay extra for the 48 hour bus tour so we could get the bonus three walking tours, the London Eye ride and the river cruise. Trying to fit all three into two days felt impossible due to the strict time constraints and the buses only running one way for a majority of the loops. And, once we did decide to leave enough time for making it to the last walking tour, we along with many other customers, we're stood up! Spent over an hour of very valuable time waiting at the meeting point only to wait for a bus driver to call the office and we were eventually told they cancelled the tour! Luckily we decided to do our river boat cruise BEFORE the walking tour or we would have missed that as well! Very poor planning, no guide on site at the meeting point stop (should've went with another operator as they had MANY guides bugging us to buy a tour, but at least they were there!), the one young guide standing half a block up the road from the meeting point (like what?) didn't know what he was doing and was dismissive and kinda rude, and the fact the busses only run until 6pm leaves you scrambling to try to fit everything in. Disappointed in Big Bus..

The London Eye experience and the cruise were great. The crew.for the ship.had very entertaining commentary about the London highlights along the Thames. The Big Bus B hop.on hop off though does not have live commentary. You need to grab the headphones to listen to the commentary which is less of a unique experience. The drivers are quite rude as well.

We bought a 48 hr pass..we arrived Monday afternoon so our pass was good until Wednesday. It is easy to navigate and gets you all around London from the National Gallery all the way to Harrods and the V and A or to St Paul's Cathedral. Just be sure to ask what the next stop is at the changeover at stop 12 (The London Eye) so you dont go the wrong way.

Never once did we have a pleasant driver. Yes they answered a quick question but otherwise appeared annoyed to be working. The audio is pathetic. Not enough explained historical knowledge and facts rather more elevator music than necessary. Gone are the days of an actual MC full of wonderful information and comical "did you know".
